Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan Hotels in Milan

Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan

"Great hotel overall. Yes, it’s a bit dated and could probably benefit from a refresh, but generally it is quite clean, very beautiful, and the bed linen is extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, my room faced the inner courtyard, so there was almost no natural light. The room itself was rather average. That said, the staff are excellent — very friendly, attentive, and always willing to explain everything in detail. The breakfast is good, but in my opinion quite overpriced. €45 per person feels very expensive for what is offered."

Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan Hotels in Milan

Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan

"Choose a hotel room carefully; you won't be happy with a room facing the wrong direction. However, after some discussion, the change was relatively normal. Location is the main advantage. If location isn't a concern, I'd also stay at the Belmond, which I think offers a better overall resort atmosphere. But the rooms are just so-so. Overall, it's a safe stay. The experience wasn't particularly outstanding. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was decent enough. I tried both breakfast and late-night snacks in the room, and they were both terrible... The bar with the view was the best option. The concierge recommended a new opera, which was also okay. But the overall service to Chinese people was mediocre. We always had to wait the longest for the water taxi, even though we were the first to call. So, after initially tipping generously, I was already getting angry..."

"Although it’s located right at the metro station, I didn’t particularly like the surrounding area. However, the hotel itself was clean and the service was good. The breakfast was excellent."

Klima Hotel Milano Fiere Hotels in Milan

Klima Hotel Milano Fiere

"Comfortable and clean hotel with a fresh and modern reception area. Provides free luggage storage after checkout for the rest of the day in case you have a later journey elsewhere. The standard double room was very spacious, although perhaps could use more lights as it would be a bit dark even with all the lights turned on. My main complaint would be the location; there is no train/metro station near the hotel and you need to take a local bus to the metro station - the problem is that the nearest bus stop is about 10-15 minutes walk away which adds a lot of time to an already long journey if you wish to go to central Milan (total time with walking is around 50-60 minutes). Tip: You can take a 3 minute Lime scooter between the hotel and the bus stop, and vice versa, which will save you about 10 minutes walking each time"

Hotel Berlino Hotels in Milan

"In general was good, even though check in was before 00:00 we were allowed to check in after midnight. The receptionist was kind except for one who was frustrated to our request for a blanket. He commented that one guest was complaining that the AC didn’t work and now we were requesting a blanket. There was no blanket in the room. There were only bedding sheets, which means at night it was pretty cold. And the cold air was blowing from downside of the main door to the room. They were some stains, dead mosquito on the wall. Regarding breakfast besides ham/bacon, there was no chicken or beef, there was enough coffee. Kitchen worker during the breakfast was cleaning pretty loud the dishes, it was a little unpleasant eating while in the same room the kitchen worker was cleaning the dishes loudly. Our request for quieter room was taken in mind and we got it . 😉"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's right across the street from the main train station, and having a subway entrance downstairs made getting around incredibly convenient. There are also tons of dining options nearby. I stayed for three nights, and the convenience of getting around was a huge plus. I booked a balcony room, and the view was great, plus the room was spotless. The service was also very good. My only real complaint is that the in-room facilities and amenities were quite inconvenient. I could overlook not having a kettle or coffee maker (though room service could bring a kettle if needed), but there weren't even any regular drinking glasses – only two small mouthwash cups on the sink. For a triple room, there was only one stool... Overall, it's a great spot with good hygiene and a nice view; just don't expect much else from the amenities."

Bovisa Urban Garden ★★
"The hostel is in a good location, slightly outside of Milan, but it’s very well connected by train. The train station is just a 3-minute walk from the hostel, which makes getting around really easy. The room was clean; from the bed linens to the overall space was well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant. The atmosphere of the hostel is very nice, and the place itself is thoughtfully designed and well put together. The only downside was that it could get a bit noisy at night, as you can hear sounds from other rooms and the corridor. Aside from that, everything was great, and I had a good experience overall."
