Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Mokinba Hotel Baviera and would recommend it for travelers looking for a well-located, friendly hotel in Milan. The location is a highlight — just a 5-minute ride on a Lime scooter or about 12 minutes on foot from Milano Centrale station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which always makes a big difference. Breakfast is a buffet-style spread — nothing extraordinary, but perfectly decent if you keep expectations reasonable. The main drawbacks are the room and bathroom size. As a backpacker traveling with a large bag, I noticed the room was tight enough that fully opening a big suitcase was a challenge — though manageable with a backpack. The shower, however, was the bigger issue: it’s extremely compact, and even as a petite Asian woman of average build, I found it nearly impossible to move freely — turning around or washing my hair meant bumping into the shower door. That’s worth noting if you’re particular about bathroom comfort. That said, for the location and the warm service, I’d still consider it a solid choice for a short city stay.

I've stayed at this hotel before, and I find the room size to be fantastic, definitely above the average for Milan and many other tourist cities. While the attention to detail could be improved, the room itself is still very clean and tidy. This time, we stayed with our little dog, who was welcomed with a beautiful dog bed, bowls for water and kibble, and even lots of toys! 😊 If they were to renovate the windows and properly soundproof the rooms, they would get a perfect score. The staff was super friendly again this time too 😊

Being an Ibis hotel, part of the Accor group, the rooms are a bit small and the facilities show their age slightly, but for a budget hotel, it offers good value for money. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the tram is close, but the subway station is a bit inconveniently located. I booked this hotel because the 4-star hotels near Milano Centrale Station were too expensive on my travel dates, and it's pretty much what I expected. It's decent for a value-for-money hotel. Note that parking is limited as the lot is small, and it costs 20 Euros per day. Breakfast is a mediocre, not-so-great continental buffet.

Wonderful hotel. It’s clean, great service, perfect location and it feels like a 5 star boutique hotel. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

The location is a bit hard to find for people who go there for the first time

Service at the front desk was friendly and we enjoyed the restaurants that were recommended for dinner. Convenient location, close to a metro stop and a twenty minute walk to the duomo.

The room size was just right and very comfortable, and the bathroom was huge! The bedding was excellent, making for a super comfortable sleep! Breakfast was very plentiful, and the ambiance was great! The wardrobe was large and very spacious. The hotel even provided a converter next to the bed, so I could charge anything directly!

no complimentary water provided in room so we used the kettle to boil but both the cups and kettle in room were very dirty, we washed twice still very oily staff was nice and the amenities were good!

High quality of the NH chain. I booked for a group, which I also accompanied. 25 minutes walk through the park to the Duomo. The train station is 1 km away, as well as departure points to the outlets of Scalo Milano (free from Piazza Repubblica), Serravalle. Spacious rooms. We occupied 7 of them - no complaints about the plumbing and other equipment. Great breakfasts. In the morning, the hotel met us halfway with an early departure and served breakfast by 06:45, which was VERY important for us. We left at 07:15. Thanks to the reception staff for helping us enjoy our vacation. At one point we needed a 7-seater minivan with a large trunk (this is not so easy to do), in 5 minutes such a car was waiting for us.
