Located near Milan Cathedral (Duomo subway station, M1 and M2 lines), the hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the side of the Cathedral Square. It does not cost more than 15 euros to take a taxi from the two major train stations in Milan (Central Station and another one with the letter C) to the hotel (the latter one is slightly closer, just over 11 euros, so let's count it as 15 euros with a tip). There is a closer subway station diagonally opposite the hotel, M3 line, which also connects the cathedral and the train station, but I didn't take it (no need). By the way, it costs 90 euros to take a regular taxi from Malpensa Airport to the city center, which is too expensive, so I strongly recommend taking the train, 13 euros; plus the taxi fare from the city train station to the hotel is no more than 30 euros. Of course, how to get into the city also depends on the number of people. There are Italian restaurants and bars near the hotel, of course, there are also several Chinese restaurants, including the Northwest Noodle House opposite. I ate at three of them during my four nights, and had two meals at one of them. The restaurant called "Yuan" has a richer stir-fried dish, which can comfort the Chinese stomach; Chinese food with Italian red wine is also good. The hotel is not particularly luxurious, it is mid-to-high-end. The reason why I give it full marks is that there is nothing wrong with the facilities and services. Even the Chinese like hot water kettles are equipped. In the center of the famous arcade, there is also the BV store known as the Italian Hermes. There are Chinese clerks. I bought a small bag there for less than 20,000 yuan. Tax refund at Global Blue is very convenient. It is not as complicated as what is said on the Internet. It is basically electronic operation. Customs does not need to stamp any form. Just swipe your passport and the tax will be credited to your account before boarding (refund via Alipay is the fastest). If you bring your own purchases, you can go to customs after passport control (if you are in Area B of Malpensa Airport, the customs window is opposite the middle exits of passport control). However, it is not recommended to refund tax after going through customs. There is only one person there. If you leave and you are in a hurry to catch a flight, you may not get the money. Moreover, the clerks and other service staff in the airport store do not understand. I figured it out by myself. According to their half-baked explanation, I have to return to passport control to complete the tax refund and then go through customs again. Just think about it, it is impossible. The door is one-way, and you don’t even have the opportunity to talk to the police in the booth. In short, it is safer to leave enough time to get a tax refund before security check. After all, not everyone brings their own purchases. This is far-fetched and has nothing to do with the hotel. In short, this hotel is worth considering. It has a good value for money. The room size is sufficient and it is also very design-conscious. Some triangles are used at the corners, which does not get in the way and expands the space for activities.
