I thought it was a hotel, but the front desk closed after 8pm. I emailed in advance and they said they would leave my key in the locker and gave me the door code. But the code was wrong and I couldn't open the door. I finally got in but the key was not there. I couldn't get through on the phone either. I waited for almost an hour and luckily they came back and gave me the key.

Let's start with the good things: the price. For being Milan, this residence certainly has a good price for its location. We went the night of the Champions League match and saw many fans staying here, also because you can easily reach the stadium from there. The problem is that the residence absolutely needs to be renovated. The rooms are very noisy, from inside you can hear the doors slamming and we, close to the stairs, could clearly hear the footsteps of all the people on the steps. Also there is a strange smell everywhere. It's a shame because the staff is quite friendly and for being Milan, I repeat, the prices are honest.

At first glance the structure seems well maintained, but you just need to look up a little to immediately see the flaws. The structure has very thin walls so if you are a light sleeper I strongly advise against it, in addition obviously to the noises in the room itself. I don't think the balcony has ever been cleaned since we checked in, and we found a piece of plaster that had fallen off (lucky we weren't under it at the time). Initially we had no problems with the staff, who seemed very friendly and helpful. It's a shame that we found ourselves without hot water for three days and at check-out, when we pointed it out, the person replied that it was written on the doors of each floor and in the elevator instead of apologizing for the mix-up. As if we had to accept the fact of being without hot water just because he wrote it on a piece of paper. I will definitely not return.

The accommodation is advertised as being furnished with taste, class and elegance. This bears no resemblance to the property in reality. It is in serious need of refurbishing. We had room 52 down in the basement, with minimal light. It was like being in a bat cave. The furniture was chipped. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. And the curtains and bedding looked like they were from the 1970’s. The air conditioning was noisy and the tiny old shower door felt like it would fall off if you touched it. I seriously do not recommend this property.

We had never been treated so badly in our lives. Mr. Salvatore treated us as if we were criminals, he canceled our reservation 1 hour before arriving at the hostel, breaking the reservation agreement illegally (it has to be 24 hours in advance and with a refund of the money) and he wanted to leave us on the street in full night when everything is paid as can be seen in the reservation. On top of that, he did nothing but yell at us and threaten that he would call the Carabinieri, when we had our right to accommodation there for 3 nights as stated in the reservation. We were very afraid. I hope Mr. Salvatore is fired as soon as possible. They've never treated us so badly. Mr Salvatore treated us as criminals, he canceled our reservation 1 hour before arriving to the hostel, breaking the contract of the reservation illegally (it has to be 24h prior and with full refund) and he wanted to leave us on the street that night, when we had already paid for everything as it can be seen in the reservation. Furthermore, he didn't stop shouting at us and threatening us to call the Carabinieri, when we had the right to stay there for 3 nights as it said in the reservation. We were really terrified. We hope Mr Salvatore gets fired as soon as possible.

Simply terrible. Lack of flexibility and hospitality towards the guest was found. Regulatory rigidity on check-in times worthy of a Swiss bank, which does not take the customer's needs into account in the slightest. Customer who in this case has a journey of 1000+ km ahead of him to get to Milan, with a train journey booked for months and whose arrival is expected shortly after the check-in time, and is told that the check-in times they are mandatory, which is the rule and that's it. Forced to change reservations just 24 hours before arrival. Each structure has rules and timetables to respect but at least the best ones and above all those that know what Hospitality gesture and Customer orientation mean show flexibility and availability to the customer. Guest first. Without a minimum of open-mindedness and care for the customer and without any sense of hospitality. Not even the worst facilities in Caracas treat guests this way.

The place is great. Near from metro, you can reach duomo in less than 20 minutes. Room were clean, staff was great, receptionist Salvatore was very kind and helpful. The room also has a kitchenette. Bakery and supermarket nearby. Strongly recommended.

We made an express trip to Milan so we decided to look for accommodation that was well connected to public transport and not too far away. The residence is very comfortable, it has a kitchen in the rooms, heating, refrigerator, cleaning kit and household items, the bathroom has towels, body wash and shampoo. The reception is from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the accommodation has Wi-Fi. They also gave us with the room key a copy of the key to the entrance door to the building since the reception closes at a certain time and to gain access the key is necessary. TIPS: Nearby you have the Gambara Metro station, this route stops at the Duomo, you will arrive in half an hour. You have a 24-hour Carrefour Supermarket 200 meters from the accommodation.

Structure located in a quiet and strategic area, a few meters from two subway accesses. Excellent quality-price relation. The customer care was amazing, we found a Mr. Receptionist Salvatore Varlese who in the old and noble Neapolitan style welcomed us and accompanied us, with attention and professionalism, throughout our stay. Thank you, see you soon.
