Although this is quite a big complex, it doesn't feel like it - the rooms and villas are spaciously laid out and each seems a bit different so the result is a pretty set of low white buildings centred around a lovely pool and lounge area. All the staff are really polite and friendly and wanting to help you - they even glued my flip flops back together for me!! The rooms are cleaned daily and are some of the best maintained that I have stayed in - as other reviews have said, everywhere is spotlessly clean. Breakfast has very civilised hours until 11am and has a good choice of fresh food, and it never felt 'tired' like some buffet breakfasts do. The pool area was always quiet in the morning and you are given towels. Even in the afternoon when people get back from their days out there are still loungers available, just sometimes not ones with umbrellas. Pool is not heated but fine once you brave it for a couple of lengths- decent size too. There is a bar by the pool that serves drinks and food. Not the cheapest but nice. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk into the centre where the port is, a little downhill on the way in. Did it in flip flops so not too bad. One other tip, not hotel related - we caught the bus to Plaka from the stop in Adames near the kiosk. €2 per ticket, approx 20 mins away. We decided to walk back to Adamas as we had missed the bus back. It was not too bad, mostly downhill on a gritty track so sturdy sandals were fine. Took just under an hour and that was just doing a steady pace and taking pics on the way. Needed phone to tell us which path to take a couple of times. Glad we did it.
