"Unfortunately, due to the prevailing Meltemi winds in June, we were unable to reach the resort and were forced to extend our stay in Folegandros. The manager of the property decided to retain the full amount paid for the three days, without considering the force majeure circumstances (common on the island) caused by the unpredictability of the wind and the impossibility of taking the ferries. A partial refund for the unused nights or at least a credit for future stays would have been sufficient as a compromise. Given the complete lack of cooperation from the manager in question, I feel compelled to warn future guests about the potential situation they might encounter."

"Such a nice hotel! The staff were super handy and arranged all transport for us, as well as serving up a great breakfast every morning on the terrace which was a lovely way to start the day. The rooms were spacious, clean and well presented. With a terrace which felt private and had a good view of sunset. It’s a short walk from Faros beach, but to get to other parts of the island you need a car or taxi. Taxis were limited on the island so some pre planning is needed, ideally you would rent a car."
