This is the 7th time, but last time and this time I used a room with a semi-open-air hot spring. Only a few of the hot springs that you can visit have a washing area, but the rooms with hot springs have an adjacent washing area with a shower. You can put it in the hot spring immediately after washing it and there is no problem even in the cold winter. You can return to your room naked even in the hot summer. The price is high, but I will use it next time. I've conquered all the private baths before, so this time I used only Otoryu. Otoryu is a hot spring by the river and it's spacious and comfortable, so I go there every time. Meals are served both in the evening and in the morning in a private room without worrying about the surroundings, which is one of the reasons why I come every year. Catfish sashimi can only be eaten here. I came from Nikko through Konsei Pass for the first time this year, but there is no second time. I want to come every year as long as I can drive.

Stayed for one night on a weekday. Here are some of the things I liked and noticed: ■ Good points (1) There was a plan with a pick-up service I used a highway bus from Tokyo. Express bus plans with round-trip transfers from the final stop Minakami Kogen Hotel are available. I was worried about driving on snowy roads, so this plan was the correct answer. I have the impression that the amount of snowfall around the inn was more than around the Minakami Kogen Hotel. This plan is not sold over the counter, so please make a reservation from the official website. Even if you pay a fee, you cannot add only transportation, so if you want transportation, you need to make a plan with transportation from the beginning. There are some rooms that allow smoking, so this is a hotel that is friendly to smokers. (2) What was good about the after-sales service On the day of our stay, the hot water supply pipe broke due to trouble on the accommodation side. Therefore, some baths could not be used. However, there was a proper after-sales follow-up, and I had no complaints at all. It was nice to have a private bath with a free-flowing hot spring. (3) The point that the request was properly transmitted When I made a reservation from the official website, I requested an extension cord, but it was properly prepared in the room. Depending on the accommodation, there are places that completely ignore the requests, so it was a good impression that they were able to respond properly. Special order dishes were also prepared properly. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. ■Points of concern (1) Insufficient cleaning The room had dust and spider webs, and a few long hairs of a woman who seemed to have stayed before had fallen. The mattress was also very dirty. Also, some of the baths had a lot of moss-like garbage floating on them that was different from Yunohana. With a limited number of staff and a large site, it may be quite difficult, but I think the image will be even better if you put more effort into cleaning. Currently, except for some baths, you can take a bath 24 hours a day, but I thought it would be good to use the cleaning time from 0:00 to 6:00, for example. It was a short stay of one night, but I was able to refresh myself. Thank you very much.
