スタッフの皆さんが感じ良くて気配りもよかったです。 夕食が美味しくてお腹いっぱいでした。お酒も飲んでいたので、最後のデザートはお部屋でと持たせてくださってゆっくり後でいただきました。ただ部屋は広い部屋の方が景観があまり良くないです。

The shuttle staff was very friendly and it was a good start to the day. The hot spring overlooking the sea was also nice. However, the facilities were old and the carpets in the hallways were stained... The yukata smelt bad. The food was also delicious... I felt it was below the price for a ryokan with such a name. The main reason for the low rating was dissatisfaction with the service of the elderly person at the front desk. Maybe he was in a higher position? Even though there were customers, the young staff were chatting away at the front desk, and he joined in the conversation without paying any attention... I thought that this was where the lack of true hospitality came from. However, the service of the shuttle staff on the way back left me in a good mood.

Although it's not mentioned in the guide, staff will pick you up from Chikura Station, so you won't have any transportation problems, but there's hardly anything around the facility, so I think it's purely a place to relax. Everyone, including the restaurant staff, was very kind to me, which was a great help.

The rooms are small but Japanese-style with an open-air bath, and it's nice to have a bath in the room. I went in there many times while looking at the sea in the morning. The large public bath is also nice, and when you immerse yourself in the open-air bath up to your shoulders, it feels like you're connected to the sea. The food is also Chiba, as you'd expect, with delicious seafood and breakfast, especially the dried salmon and horse mackerel. It's an old-fashioned hotel, but I can see why it has such good reviews.
