"I stayed here for one night for a swim. It was a stylishly renovated facility that was a school retreat in Tokyo, located about a 5-minute walk from Minami-Chikura Beach. In addition to the one-story hotel building, there are also several tents for glamping, so you can choose the accommodation you prefer. I stayed in a room in the hotel building. The double bunk beds can comfortably accommodate four adults. The children couldn't help but cheer in the lovely room, where you can feel the warmth of the wood. The toilets and baths are all shared and not inside the room, but they were very clean and comfortable to use. There are several hammocks in the courtyard, and you can swing around while drinking coffee and tea that are freely available in the cafeteria. You can also buy wine and shaved ice and enjoy them wherever you like. In addition, there is a library in a separate building that has collected 25,000 manga! The children also cheered loudly. I read over a dozen books in my hammock, in my room, in the lobby, and wherever I wanted (lol). After enjoying swimming in the sea, we had a barbecue in the courtyard with local meat, seafood, vegetables, and grilled rice balls. Everything was delicious! The staff prepared the ingredients and charcoal, so it was easy. Also, fireworks were allowed, so we had some while barbecuing. The next morning, I enjoyed swimming in the sea again, and having done everything I wanted to do during summer vacation, I headed home. Next time, I'd like to stay in a tent. It was a really fun stay. I recommend it."
