Avoid this hotel! I travel a lot for work and was here for a conference. This has to be the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Arrival: Arrived at 11:30pm and was told my room was not available because housekeeping was still cleaning rooms. However, people checking in after me were able to go straight into their rooms. (Had even called ahead to say I was arriving late and had been assured my room would be available.) I was given the option to stay in a conference "suite" with no bed, just a pullout couch for the night. The front desk employee said it could be half-off, but I asked for it to be comped because it wasn't a real hotel room or a real bed. The pullout couch had crumbs (I hope, and not bugs) in the mattress. I was told I would have to check out of that room the next morning and be on a waitlist for the next available room; for a reservation I had made in January! When I asked why I couldn't move right into a room in the morning if rooms were available just not cleaned yet that night, I could not get a straight answer. In the end, after calling the front desk again to ask about a room, someone from the front desk came up and gave me a room key for a regular hotel room. Customer service: Bartender was extremely rude. My coworker and I arrived at the hotel after a long day at the conference right before the kitchen closed. We asked if we could order food still, he said yes, took our order, charged us. Over a half hour later, food hadn't arrived. When my coworker told the same person who took our order that it hadn't arrived yet, he said "I'm just the bartender, what do you want me to do about it?" Eventually he went to get our food, which was cold, and blamed us for not getting it sooner because we hadn't been sitting at the bar. We were at a bar table directly in front of the bar. And in the end, they tried to charge me full price for that first night, and I had to go to the front desk to get it reduced to the initial offer of half off. You'll get better service at the Holiday Inn Express and complimentary breakfast to boot.
