Nice hotel in the heart of Minneapolis close to the Target Center. Rooms appear to be recently updated, as well as the gym. For those with access to the M club, the lounge offered a nice hot breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area

Warning about Marriott Minneapolis City Center. Booked reservation that included self-parking. Showed up to hotel to find out they no longer have a relationship with the parking garage. Offered me valet parking. Problem is they have 1 attendant for valet during the day. So nobody was answering phone when I wanted my car so I left my room to go request my car in person and had to wait for valet attendant for over 5 minutes to return to valet area to even request my car. Spoke to front desk and their response was that I could self-park elsewhere at my own expense (even though I paid extra for a self-parking package). Unacceptable.

The staff we encountered were professional, helpful and gracious. The room we had was on the 28th floor-what a view! The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. We did not have a meal at the hotel during our stay, but did have a drink at the hotel bar. Nice atmosphere and great bartenders! We will stay at Minneapolis Marriott City Center again!
