Hampton Inn & Suites Minneapolis/Downtown Reviews

We’ve had two stays here, one in August 2022 and one just in November 2022. First stay was great we had everything we needed in the room, we called for extra pillows for sofa bed and they brought them right up. Was clean, safe and right near event venues. Second stay we had a smelly room, only two bath towels, no hand towels no wash clothes, no hand soap. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the room so we didn’t complain but it would have been nice to see consistency in the stays. It’s a great location for attending games, concerts, etc… would give another shot just make sure we address the room concerns right away.

A hotel in the city center, and a brand chain, must be good! A good choice for business travel.

The room is very clean, there is no odor, the overall facilities are quite new, the bed is very comfortable, there are many restaurants around, it is convenient to check in, the surrounding environment of the hotel is relatively safe, recommended to stay

Great, great, stayed here twice. I will go to this restaurant every time. It is very close to the university and it is very convenient to order takeaway from the surrounding area. The hotel is very clean, the environment is nice, and the girl at the front desk is also very friendly.

This is a great option for people attending an event at Target Center; it is easily accessible by Skyway. The staff was the nicest I have encountered at a hotel. The room (we needed handicapped accessible) was fantastically accessible--one of the best we've been in. Finally, given the location, the price was pretty reasonable! Parking in Hawthorne Center was convenient to the hotel via Skyway. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I liked everything about staying in this hotel. Especially the skywalk to get to the theater and bars on the other side. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back here. Free breakfast was good.

We had a great stay! Walkable from many of the main attractions in downtown Minneapolis. Staff was very friendly, free breakfast was great and rooms were clean. We will be back again!

The room was very clean and well updated. We were there for a Timberwolves game at Target Center, which was a just a short walk through the skywalk. The front desk members were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great too!

We liked being able to walk from the parking ramp to the hotel in the skywalk. Then when e we were going to the Timberwolves game it was very convenient to just use the same skyway to get to the Target Center. I will stay here again just because of that feature. Staff at front desk on night shift could be trained to be more attentive. Breakfast crew was really on top of the game…putting out fresh pots of coffee & keeping the breakfast area well stocked.

The staff were some of the friendliest people I have ever met! Didn’t like that I had to ring a door bell to be let in, tells me the area is not safe. But that is not the hotels issue, and I am glad they are secure and take safety seriously

Front desk person was awesome! Unfortunately I don't recall his name. We had an issue with the room being booked by one person but paid for on another person's card.He was very patient and helped us resolve the situation.

This hotel is connected to the Orpheum theatre by a skywalk which is why we booked here. Very safe and super convenient.

Stayed when we attended a musical at the Orpheum. Parked in the ramp and walked to Hampton through the skywalk - super easy. Walked the skywalk to the theater - again, super easy. Staff at hotel was friendly and helpful. They gave us a parking voucher, which was charged to our room and cheaper than paying the event pricing at the ramp. Good breakfast, comfortable room. Would definitely stay here again.
