I am very satisfied with this hotel. It is a little far from the city but the price is affordable. The parking is convenient. The interior decoration is very new and the room is very big. We also refunded the money after checking out early and communicating with the front desk
During my stay in the Hilton Gardens hotel at Toronto airport mistakes were made. Let me start with my own. I didn't realize there are several Hilton hotels at the airport and took the shuttle to the wrong one. Let me tell you: Canada is not made for pedestrians and it was a cumbersome walk to the correct Hilton on foot. Also: because of the name Garden I expected a hotel surrounded by a lush garden. No such thing. It's on a bleak, grey, asphalt area with no garden or any features at all. Or do they consider the giant car parks to be ”gardens”? Another mistake by me: this being the first visit to Canada, perhaps I should be prepared better. However, the breakfast at Hilton Gardens is not suitable at all for vegans. Smoothies have cow milk in them and other options are just sweets disguised as actual food. As Canada is not designed for pedestrians, there's no supermarket anywhere and thus I went seriously hungry. Next it's the hotels turn. Hotel airports need good sound insulation to keep the airplane noise out. And indeed: not an airplane can be heard in the room. However, the air conditioning is the loudest I have ever encountered. Parking a car with a petrol engine in the room and running it would be more quiet! Luckily, the airco can be turned off. However, the frig cannot be turned off and it kept me awake basically all night. And the worst thing is: when I opened it in the morning hoping to find a mini bar, it turns out it's empty! Why waste so much electricity and noise to cool an empty space? How about just running it if in use to cool stuff? On top of the noise of the a frig a constant 24 hour droning mechanical noise could be heard in my room (#1516). It sounded like a factory or perhaps a huge aircon unit on top of the roof?
i would say this is a nice hotel,i love their service, people are friendly, good to stay
but pls do not go hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport.this hotel is crazy , the India or middle east lady is still there ,pretty arrogant ,and not good service,no idea.what she is doing there ,personally, not good to be with . and really influence the hotel without good training employees

The location is a little bit far away from any attractions, the second night we didn't have any hot water, and waited from 7 pm -10 pm. During the time, we called front desk, but they only said they would check the maintenance, then hang out, never call us back. Our families were disappointed with their service
Our flights changed on our vacation coming home so we were forced into a 13+hour layover. I chose to book this hotel on airmiles since it offered free airport shuttle. It averages about 200 a night I believe. It cost us 1800 airmiles and fees…. The bed is comfortable but the rooms were HOT. The ac is located in the common area of the room and since the bedroom is slightly segregated it didn’t cool it off. There were two tvs, which we couldn’t make sense of. Also one remote just didn’t have any batteries so when trying to make it work I had to take batteries out of one to put in the other. More importantly……. It seemed clean but I woke up to silver fish in the bathroom. I did let the front desk know. The Lobby Lounge Restaurant was pretty good with nice service. I just wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially given the cost.
My family and I had a very very good experience at the hotel. Spent the last 2 days there. Renovations were being done at my place and we decided to have a stay at this facility. Myself, wife and my two boys; 19 and 9. Rooms is exactly what we were looking for. Loved the Breakfast menu and the Hosts for the morning were excellent and very inviting. Thank you so much to Mariel, Alma and Roger. Waking up to your “GOOD MORNINGS” was a great boost for the day.
We are going to a wedding and meeting my family from the USA,and we are all checked in the same hotel, the location is close to the church ,venue and reception,we have a wonderful time staying in the hotel,no parking fee wifi accessible, quite and affordable.
A most pleasant stay - very easy to get to the hotel and then airport via the link train. The hotel was clean, the room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was perfect and the amenities provided were very nice - not too perfumed. We loved the big fluffy towels. Upon leaving early the next day to get our flight checkout was painless and the link train worked perfectly to get us to the airport in good time to catch our flight. Considering that the hotel is very close to the airport it was very quiet. The restaurant was excellent we enjoyed a great meal and our server was delightful. We will be recommending the Alt to our friends traveling through Toronto who need a hotel that is reasonably priced and close to the airport.

GGuest UserThe hotel is dated... big deal. The hallway carpet is stained and threadbare. So what? The lobby is small and unassuming... whatever. Our room was small but clean, the bed was comfy, and the washroom basic and functional. True, the dated heating/cooling unit rattled like a Model T and the elevator was out of order when we arrived... but the staff MORE than made up for the building's shortcomings. We were treated with respect, friendly smiles, courteous and thoughtful service and a few above-and-beyond touches. Even our airport shuttle driver was fantastic! Thanks for going the extra mile for your late-night exhausted ParkSleepFly customers. We'll be back to you the next time we overnight near Pearson. Good job!
ZZhaoWe're not happy with this hotel for we got Trip.com's confirmation that you've booked King size bed for us.
But when we arrived and checked in, the hotel stuff told us the Trip.com only booked Queen size bed for us,
and they've booked full in that night, nothing they could provide. They told us we needed to deal with Trip.com.
We don't know who made the mistake, but we're the victim.
Although our check-in went very smoothly, there were very few parking spots with very tight fits. There’s trash everywhere behind the building making it even more challenging to park. Sia at the front desk was really helpful in this regard. On or return however there were several challenges. We called the hotel for the shuttle at 11:01 PM (which operates on demand) and we were told that it would arrive “shortly”. The hotel is less than five minutes from the airport, especially at that time of night. After waiting for 20 minutes we attempted to call the front desk 13 times to inquire about the shuttle delay to make sure there was no confusion and no one answered. Our call went to an automated recording about car rentals. The shuttle finally arrived approximately eight minutes later, so about 29 minutes after our initial call, when we were told it would arrive “shortly”. We arrive at the hotel, check-in, go up to the room and the first thing we notice was the handle of the door to the room was twisted but not quite broken yet. We proceed inside to find that the AC and TV don’t work and there isn’t a lightbulb on one of the bedside tables. At this point, it’s well past midnight. However, we call the front desk and although the AC issue was remedied, the TV problem was not. In the morning, I go to have a shower and the water drizzled out of the shower-head. The entire night was a disaster. I would never return to this hotel, nor would I recommend it to anyone.
GGuest UserCompared with other hotels, the price here is more affordable, there is a Chinese-American front desk (see luck), there is a small supermarket downstairs, and a gas station, easy to travel. Near the airport, but the noise is low
