Shinpuro

I am very satisfied with the meal. Each one was carefully made and delicious. The fish was surprisingly fresh, and I enjoyed it for the first time in a while. The dashimaki* was soft and had a gentle taste.

The inn has an old-fashioned Japanese architecture throughout, and you can feel the warmth of wood. It has a modern Japanese feel as it utilizes old parts while also incorporating new elements. I think the room is nice and simple, with no unnecessary items. The wooden desk, wooden floor, and tatami mats were nice. The floor of the communal bath was made of wood and felt comfortable to the touch. Amanohashidate is right in front of you, and the pier is just outside, so I think it's easy to access. The dishes are orthodox Japanese cuisine, with beautiful bowls and presentation. I stayed for two nights, and I was grateful that the meals were different for the first and second nights.

It is conveniently located right in front of the Amanohashidate ferry terminal, and just a short walk from Kasamatsu Park, which is famous for crotch viewing. The outside looks like an old-fashioned wooden building, but the inside has been renovated and has a modern feel. We were the only guests due to the seasonal weather, but we were welcomed very warmly. The room had a large window with a view of Amanohashidate, and was spacious and comfortable enough for two people to relax. My foreign husband can't sleep on a futon, so it was nice to have a bed. Although the bath is not open-air and is small in size, it is a hot spring that is clean and well-maintained. All of the dishes were delicious, especially the rice, so even when I was full, I ended up having a second helping. I realized that the rice from Tango and Tamba is really delicious. It seems like everyone comes here for the crabs during the crab season, so we would definitely like to come back in the winter with our friends and parents-in-law.
