We visited here with friends visiting from the US and Switzerland. Onsen is from the natural spring, (turn the valve outside of the bath for more hot spring water) rooms are cozy, and dinner is full of the mountain blessings. Yuyama is a bit far but the quality of water, air and sky with shining stars make it worth traveling. We were glad meeting a very nice owner family. The area is perfect for jogging, hopping into other Onsen, eating at a freshly-made soba noodle restaurant, training at a village-owned well equipped gym and swimming pool. We went to Mt. Ichifusa for a forest therapy tour. We became a big fan of this beautiful village with warm and kind hearted people.
