Enjoy the wind of the Indian Ocean in Mombasa, the second largest city in Kenya, for two days. There are so many crabs when the tide rises at night, and there is a silvery light on the beach, which cannot be photographed by the mobile phone [laughing]

Es handelt sich um ein in den 70er Jahren eröffnetes Hotel welches immer sehr gut gepflegt wurde. Sanitäre Anlagen sind im ganzen Gelände wie neu, auf Sauberkeit und Ordnung und der Anlage wird sehr viel wert gelegt. Das Personal ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Küche ist sehr gut, Sehr abwechslungsreiche Speisen werden in Büffetform angeboten. Auch für unsere 5 Jährige Enkeltochter war immer etwas dabei ! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden wieder kommen 😊

Very friendly staff Great ambience Sumptous meals Prompt services Very helpful staff I would recommend the hotel anytime. I stayed in the bungalows and they have a lot of space. They also have a dedicated staff around the clock to ensure they are tidy and to respond to extra work demands e.g spill overs etc

The rooms are old and need modernization furniture outdated and Old fashioned and totally worn out it is qiute obvious too see that nothing has been done to the rooms since the Hotel was build. The food was very good, the personel helpfull and friendly the place was tidy and the cleaning of the Roms was good,nice fitness centre.

Travelled for work, it was my first time there. The room I was booked for was basic but clean. They didn't have the indoor sandals/shoes that I have seen in most hotels, the safe was a bit rusty and old but it did work. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. What I liked the most was the food, it was fresh, really tasty, their kitchen personnel are not stingy when serving you. The hotel staff are also very warm, friendly. and helpful. Beautiful view from the dining area. Also the evening entertainment by the band was quite good.

The food, staff and building is amazing!I love the pool bar and slide 🛝 👌 😉 😜 😎 😀. I love the fact that it is next to the sea. The room was very nice. Loved the food especially the sausages and mandazi. The staff were really helpful and kind. 🤩

Unfortunately, the bungalow I booked w/ sea view was unavailable upon arrival. Experienced a few hiccups in terms of quality of available bungalows. Staff was great throughout.
I’m not the biggest fan of their bungalows, BUT I love their upgraded rooms w/ partial ocean and pool view. Clean, comfortable, and serene.
Beautiful, oceanfront restaurant. Amazing breakfast and dinner buffets. Great live music every night of our stay.
Just a few steps from white sands, camels, and the stunning Indian Ocean.
Everyone I encountered was incredible: restaurant servers (especially Dorcas), CHEFS, security personnel, shuttle drivers, etc. Everyone appears to love this magical place.

The facilities were in good condition and cleaned well. The food is good. The views are amazing. The service on the ground is excellent. The only thing to improve on is answering your phones and keeping the bookings up-to date. I kept calling before the trip to ensure everything was in order and eventually when I got there, there was still some confusion on the rooms and I ended up in a double room. Also, get someone to man the phones so that it is easier to get through to you.

We returned to Severin 2 years after our first visit. Loved it even more. Of course the service: staff, food, facilities (our room and both pools) were just wonderful. We really enjoyed the improvements: coffee for those walking on the beach (6-8am) and extended pool hours (6am-9pm)--awesome! Thank you for giving us an amazing holiday once again. We look forward to going back.
