Voyager Beach Resort
"We recently finished our holiday to Kenya and Tanzania at Voyager Resort. We were both surprised to find I'd booked an all inclusive package and it was excellent! Our booked garden view room ending up having a view of the ocean. It was amazing. Great staff, really good food, same with the included drinks. Loved the Outlook Bar. It's a big resort but it didn't ever feel crowded. Now if they could have just guaranteed the sun it would have been perfect :)"
Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa, Mombasa
"Great hotel in the beach. Lovely staff. Check in was an issue, we didn’t get the rooms past 5pm and the twin rooms we had booked were not available, were promised an extra bed in the rooms to make it a twin never happened."
PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa Mombasa
"Wonderful hotel"
Cocoa Luxury Resort
"It needs renovation and improve on your breakfast"
CityBlue Creekside Hotel & Suites
"The Lake view room was a lot worse than the other one that I stayed in. The humidity was awful. The air-conditioning doesn't work properly and have enough of an effect. The internet did work better though. The rooms away from the lake are more spacious and better ventilated. Nonetheless, as a whole it is a good hotel. "
Travellers Beach Hotel & Spa

The food was very tasty with variety of offerings.staff professional and willing to assist at all times. , room well maintained and clean by Mbura, security thorough and friendly, spa services were top notch, there is great renovation done in the hotel. I would highly recommend anytime and will definitely be back."

Cocoa Boutique Hotel
"The hotel is by the beach, so it has nice views. The rooms are very suspicious, but the hotel is a bit old and in need of renovation! Their staff or service is too slow!"
Milele Beach Hotel
Jumeirah Beachfront
"The best hospitality that i have ever experience d. Thumbs Up.awesome reception and amazing food ,the activities planned were incredible, engaging and the staff was very professional, I REALLY LOVED MY STAY JUMEIRAH"
Ziwa Beach Resort
"You either love Ziwa or you don't. -you should be at least a little African-proof. I was in November-December for five weeks and everyday life got better. Of course, the end of the rains and the constant power and water outages helped. -Note Reserve enough fuel for the agricat so things will go better during the rainy season. Vegan food is cheap and good, if you want a large portion, promise a good tip, i.e. bribing is a way to fill your stomach. We remember that the hotel is half a family hotel and the children liven up the swimming area on weekends. -you can always move to the neighboring hotel Indiana pools 3 pcs, which are usually empty and with clearer water, they have white bottoms and Siwa has natural stone bottoms, I think the stones are great. -when going to Indiana via the beach, you buy a beer or two to take with you to the pool and that's it. There is no porridge or sausages/cheese at breakfast, but you can always bring cheeses and sausages and porridge and jukurt from your own kitchen. My fridge was clean as new. The sheets were changed every day and the room service was good, you get a microwave if you want and you can cook for yourself if you want, they bring a gas stove, pots, etc. I thought the security was quite adequate, but if I went to town, I usually locked the door like that and at night I locked the door."
Sheratton Beach Villagio
"I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Set in 3 blocks, no lift, so be aware if you have mobility issues. A good choice of food, a good-sized swimming pool, a bar and the location is fab. It is literally on the beach. You can walk along the beach to nearby hotels and restaurants in around 10 minutes. The room I was in was huge. A double bed, fridge, wardrobe, TV, and bathroom. Also, a small balcony, unfortunately, this looked over the car park, so it's not a good view. Not so good was the bathroom. Woefully dilapidated, the bath had a shower over but there is no support under tge bath so it feels very unsafe. There's been some botched work done to the shower which was dreadful. Also, as others have mentioned, the water is salty so having a wash is not pleasant. The breakfast: not good. Very little to choose from, in chafing dishes, hard and cold sausages, no bacon (have since learned you can ask for this - so tell your clients!). It was really very poor and could easily be improved. It's a real shame about the rooms. They are huge but the bathroom is really at an unacceptable level, not fit for purpose. The wardrobe was nasty and cheap and about to fall apart. I would suggest a more solid piece than MDF. I'm not sure I would stay here again, maybe if the rooms were updated and the whole place given some much needed TLC. The staff: excellent. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Lovely people. "
Bamburi Beach Hotel

Tudor Water Sports Hotel
"Very good stay with my family for 2 nights in their family room. The family room is just perfect for a family of 5. Self catering kitchenette with a fridge and electric kettle and the appropriate kitchenware. Very friendly and responsive staff. Quiet and peacefull. Ample parking and overall good ambiance."
Sheratton Regency Hotel
"Very good, clean. Nice reception"
Baobab Holiday Resort
"Utterly gorgeous hotel, clean, beautiful amazing service and food and great rooms Lovely beach although you do get pestered but a firm no is enough to deter them. Such a lovely stay"
Plaza Beach Hotel
"The location is splendid, close to the road and right at the beach. The garden is super well taken care of and the rooms are so clean"
Kahama Hotel Mombasa
"The location is very good and the atmosphere. Room well cleaned with value for money. At the reception, cool people, Liza, Linet, Alice, Puritan and and the good 2 Benjamin. The sport bar no longer offer the karaoke till late and this is the excellence I noticed. Only one thing didn't work, the massage service is not available."
Royal Court Hotel
"This hotel came to our rescue when our flights changed last minute. From the moment we entered we felt very welcomed. The rooms were very clean and all the amenities you could ask for. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing. Delicious and very fresh food."
Tamarind Village Hotel Apartments
"Wonderful apartment with double bedrooms, absolutely clean and with a view to the sea. Clean towels always supplied, good tv coverage and excellent free wifi. The hotel itself is quite quirky to get around, but once you get to know your way, no issues. Ate at the hotel restauranet and room service many times, very good quality and the overall service is outstanding. Staff are all brilliant. Will certainly book there again the next time I visit."
Bliss Resort
"Hotel looked severely understaffed. We booked a double room-me and my friend. We got a small queen bed, which was in no way enough for two women ! I requested for a room change - NO. I requested for an extra mattress - NO. They offered an extra room at full charge !!!! I had to run from reception to room to reception to room to find a bell boy, and then to find a mattress. Infrastructure is decent. But they could do with better service."
Neptune Beach Resort - All Inclusive
"Our family of 6 chose Neptune for our beach stay in Diani and we had a fantastic time. We stayed in Paradise section and it was perfect. Our favorites included the pool swim up bar, ping pong and pool table, and the dining area. The Paradise resort was quiet, peaceful, and not crowded and the perfect place to unwind relaxing by the pool while enjoying the beautiful weather and views. As guests at Paradise, we had full access to the other Neptune resorts and participated in aqua exercises, and evening entertainment that were at other resorts. The beach area is what you'd expect in Diani. One of the best beaches worldwide with perfectly soft white sand. There's an area nearby where locals sell curios etc. You will be solicited for boat tours, bracelets, etc on the beach. A firm no thank you is enough if you're not interested. The resort doesn't have a gym but there's a nice path overlooking the ocean and trails that will suffice for jogging. A big thank you to the staff who made our stay unforgettable, Hope and Jacqueline with the entertainment team, Suleiman in the restaurant, Stanley at Paradise bar, and staff at the pool bar. A special thanks to the Paradise restaurant manager who went out of his way to connect me with the chef for the secret recipe to the best grilled lamb ever. Asante sana for an excellent beach vacation in Diani."
Jambo Village Hotel
"It is located perfectly for travel to the airport, so the convenience is certainly a reason to stay here. The staff were all pleasant, but the rooms could use air-conditioning as it is a hot country. They have a restaurant downstairs inside the hotel, but choices are limited and the breakfast was very ordinary. The restaurant they have next door was a total waste of time and money. We ordered the grilled chicken and waited over 1hr for it to arrive, and when it did it was dry overcooked chicken that was like chewing on a rubber boot. We couldn't finish the meal because it was just inedible and not at all a good meal by any standards. Their cold drinks are not very cold and they do not have ice. Oh, but for them it is more important to have an ignorant DJ playing music so loud we had trouble hearing ourselves talking. We asked nicely if they could have the music volume lowered a little but our request was just ignored by the DJ. It is a restaurant not a night club and the music was just too loud for a restaurant. So I would give this place a 0 star rating because it was terrible."
