CityBlue Creekside Hotel & Suites ★★★★

📍 Tudor Creek, Off Nyali Bridge, Mombasa

"Hello , when you will return my over charged $ 1500? My friend and I stayed at City Blue Hotel Mombasa, Kenya on December 25, 2025. The next morning when we checked out, a staff member named Cynthia made a huge mistake with the billing—she charged my credit card 1,500 US dollars incorrectly, even though my actual total cost was only 5150 Kenya shillings. The hotel team apologized right away and promised the overcharged amount would be refunded to me by the Tuesday. But that promise turned out to be empty. I’ve waited for a full month, sending repeated emails and asking local friends to call the hotel to follow up. Yet, there’s been absolutely no response from them—no updates, no explanation, nothing. It’s incredibly frustrating to be left hanging like this over such a clear billing error. I just want the money that’s rightfully mine back, and it’s disappointing that the hotel isn’t honoring their refund promise or even communicating with me. What is the attitude of the hotel's senior management regarding this billing error? I want to receive my refund as soon as possible."

Voyager Beach Resort

Voyager Beach Resort ★★★★

📍 Off Mt Kenya Road, Mombasa

"We recently finished our holiday to Kenya and Tanzania at Voyager Resort. We were both surprised to find I'd booked an all inclusive package and it was excellent! Our booked garden view room ending up having a view of the ocean. It was amazing. Great staff, really good food, same with the included drinks. Loved the Outlook Bar. It's a big resort but it didn't ever feel crowded. Now if they could have just guaranteed the sun it would have been perfect :)"

PrideInn Hotel Nyali

"It was a small but lovely hotel. Hotels in Mombasa have a lot of problems, and I expect further efforts to be made depending on the attitude of the staff and management. Thank you."

"The hygiene was excellent, though the facilities were a bit dated. Service was great. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it wasn't crowded, which was ideal for someone who likes peace and quiet. There's a small activity room and two swimming pools. The food was just okay."

"Hello everyone! To say the hotel is excellent is an understatement. It's wonderful!!! Everything about it is perfect: the location, the infrastructure, the staff, the food, the cleaning. I haven't felt such a sense of peace at a hotel in a long time; I felt complete peace. Our room was in block 5 with an ocean view, and it was simply wonderful. It was windy during the first few days of our stay, and we didn't want to go in. But the seawater pool was a great alternative, with daily aerobics and other activities. The pool bar is excellent (it feels like you're always welcome there). I'd also like to mention the food: it's superb. The chef is always on top of things, monitoring service and making sure guests are happy. He's a great guy!!! I'd also like to mention Michael, the hotel receptionist, who greets you upon check-in and continues to provide top-notch service, so a special thank you to him!!! The entertainment team is 100% committed. Huge respect and thanks for their professionalism and hard work. Before leaving, we had a fantastic dinner outside. It was a complete delight. I was overwhelmed with happiness at being here right now. I left with tears in my eyes (it was all so touching). Thank you, thank you, thank you, my favorite hotel!!! I'll be back!"

"We stayed at the Bamburi Beach Hotel. Our booking was done by Moyo Holidays and it was a flawless experience. Our flight preference and attention to detail all taken care of by Moyo Holidays. From the time we checked in the front desk staff were very warm and inviting and we were welcomed by a cool hibiscus drink and cold towels. Checking in was very easy and we felt the love and warmth rightaway. We were given a spotless, clean and very spacious room with an ocean view and a remarkably comfortable bed, strong wifi and every detail felt luxurious..from the rainfall shower to the complimentary bath amenities, awesome cushions ..etc Dining staff - chefs, waiting staff all ready to serve you with gleaming smiles, outstanding breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner buffets offering a wide variety of cuisines. The Bar staff really very conversant, polite ready making your drinks and ensuring you sit there content. The infinity pool is one where new friendships are made and the pool staff very friendly with fluffy towels on hand and guiding you to your pool bed overlooking the ocean or the pool. The events team entertaining all with pool / beach activites like aerobic, volleyball, stretches etc and engaging all in live entertainment in the evening. The snack bar really going out of their way to serve snacks , freshly popped popcorn, endless scoops of icecreams and a menu to please all anytime of the day. The entire cleaning staff ensuring each and every place is spotless and the security staff ensuring your safety at all times. Birthdays and anniversaries or any special occassion celebrated with a lot of pomp by the entire staff with endless wishes and personalized cakes and one getting pampered with loving room decor for your special day. Ocean views and the stunning sunrises to please a photographers soul, the beach walks, boat rides and watersports all right outside for you to experience. "Good hotel and more affordable than many on this coastline. Stayed here while attending a conference at PrideInn Paradise and no complaints! Only issue was that the trip booking was not showing on arrival but the hotel were amazing and sorted it out. Huge rooms with kitchen, fridge, kettle which was great for making tea!"

Bliss Resort Hotels in Mombasa

Bliss Resort

"Over this past 6 months I have been staying at Bliss periodically for business. Excellent location and facility. The rooms are as spacious as any 5 star hotel I have stayed at and the staff, exceptionally friendly. The Restaurant is probably one of the best in Mombasa. Be aware however alcohol is not served. The location should also be highlighted as it is a safe area for Expats to walk to the local shops, bars, banks and restaurants."

Cocoa Luxury Resort Hotels in Mombasa

Cocoa Luxury Resort

"This hotel is conveniently placed right next to the beautiful Nyali beach but that is where the good things stop. Muthu is very poorly maintained, with a collapsed building on the back right of the pool. Each room has ripped and stained mosquito nets. Rusted and dirty bathrooms, the first room we were put in the water was leaking from the toilet. The AC works but sounds like it’s about to explode. And the lift is broken, so you are screwed in you are on the 4th floor. We also ordered a meal from the restaurant, but had to send us back as the chicken biriani had gone bad, and the spaghetti bolognaise was so salty my wife tried to poor water on it to make it better, with no luck. Finally, the entire team there doesn’t communicate with each other and they cannot be contacted by Trip.com. That meal we sent back, we were told by the restaurant manager that we would not need to pay for it. He never told the reception staff and we had to argue with the guards at the gate of the hotel to let our taxi leave for about half an hour before we had to force our way out. Please don’t stay here, it’s not worth it. Go to somewhere near Diani beach, it’s much better on that side."

"The premise offered excellent services, very serene view and great food served. The hotel team was very welcoming and friendly. I loved the pool, the cinema/bar space entertained the guests well, the morning ocean view from the room is THERAUPTIC!"

Neptune Beach Resort - All Inclusive Hotels in Mombasa

Neptune Beach Resort - All Inclusive

"This is a fantastic hotel. I really cannot find any faults for the 2 weeks that we stayed for. The pool guy Danson looked after us like we were his family. He is such a credit to the hotel and I hope the hotel can reward him for outstanding service. Kalimbo the gardener brought us fresh coconuts and prepared them for us to drink. Thank you kalimbo. Gibson at the bar made sure we were properly hydrated without us having to leave the sun lounger. Thank you Gibson. For my partner’s birthday they even made a special cake for her and sang happy birthday. She was so happy so thank you. We also got up early to watch the monkeys a couple of times and they are so cute and funny. This was a holiday that was so good we plan to come back again."

PrideInn Hotel Nyali ★★★
"A small cozy hotel with a good atmosphere. The breakfast is decent, you won't go hungry. The room is small, you can only fit two suitcases, but it was enough for us for 2 days. African music plays by the pool, it was atmospheric. The location is safe, for us, two girls, it was very important! We had lunch and dinner in the department, everything was delicious. Good cocktails. I can recommend!!"

Severin Sea Lodge ★★★★
"I recently stayed at Servin Sea Lodge, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm and welcoming service. The lodge itself is beautifully situated with breathtaking views of the ocean, and the sound of the waves crashing adds a serene and peaceful touch to the atmosphere. My room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with large windows that allowed me to enjoy the stunning coastal views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. The amenities were top-notch, and I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the room. The on-site restaurant served delicious, fresh seafood, and the breakfast options were diverse and satisfying. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the private beach area, which provided the perfect setting for relaxation. Whether it was lounging by the shore, taking a dip in the water, or enjoying a sunset cocktail, it felt like paradise. Servin Sea Lodge offers a perfect balance of tranquility, luxury, and excellent service, making it a fantastic destination for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!"

PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa Mombasa ★★★★
"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It had spacious, green grounds, a clean pool, friendly staff, and delicious food. We felt like special guests. The hotel was about 40 percent full, so we were surrounded by care and attention. The food selection was small compared to Turkish all-inclusive hotels, but there was fish and meat, but no seafood. There was a variety of fruit: papaya, watermelon, melon, bananas, oranges, passion fruit, and mango. The alcohol was also good; bottled beer and local spirits were quite good. Our room overlooked the pool and partly the ocean; it was spacious and clean."

"This hotel has a century-long history and has clearly been recently renovated; the central air conditioning is a plus. The bathrooms are poor, especially the showers. It's also quite noisy in the city center. The breakfast is acceptable."
