The view of the hotel is acceptable, but the service needs improvement in many aspects. The rental of the swimming pool needs to be rented separately, which is particularly inconvenient. It is not convenient to eat nearby. The hotel's own buffet has various requirements. Customers are given hand straps of different colors. The plastic buckles cannot be taken off. It is very inconvenient to wear them all the time. However, Only willing to provide it once is not humane enough. The hotel facilities are relatively old and the price/performance ratio is average

Very nice place. We got a wonderful room with a huge balcony and a sea view. The food is average, but this little thing, like several others, does not prevent you from enjoying your vacation. Friendly, charming and helpful staff. White sand, enough space by the sea and by the pool. Good communication with neighboring cities.

Great place to visit, staff friendly and warm, perfect location, nice clean beach. Family friendly, awesome animation team (Sabina, Leo and Steve) kept us busy and entertained the kids. Super relaxing time, highly recommend visiting this hotel on your travels

Check-in was easy. They were very kind. We checked in at 1:40 pm and they said to go and get something to eat as the restaurant was due to close. We then went back to reception and checked into our room. This was all playing sailing and everybody was polite and helpful. Got to the rooms. We had booked Seaview and they were absolutely gorgeous immaculately clean and very large with amazing view of the ocean. Our maid was perfect in every way she made us little towel arts every day and always gave us a hug. Couldn’t ask for anyone better there’s a picture of her in my review. Let’s talk about food well the first three days the food was repetitive and cold. I like to sort this while I’m at resort because personally I could’ve checked out however the restaurant manager Saif couldn’t do enough to help us. He spoke to the chefs. He spoke with the top managers and the food, quality and temperature improved massively. I understand we were out of season. After he had sorted everything out, the food was really really nice, and I couldn’t fault the waiter Nizar ❤️ he went that extra mile, making sure we had drinks, topped up and knew exactly what we drank. It was my friends birthday while we were away. There’s pictures he decorated the table and made a real effort. Nothing was too much for Nizar. Bar staff Ala and Mohammed we’re absolutely amazing. They were really funny, too always had a smile on their face couldn’t fault them. The hotel itself is absolutely immaculate, the staff really do make this place and I would love to return when the season is in full swing. Being out of season, the pool was too cold to swimming in, but it was nice just to relax on a lounger Entertainment, staff, Sam and Torres made us laugh, and made us feel really really welcome The question is, would I return? Yes, if the price was right

The food is extremely poor it's cold the staff say you can place in micro wave. chicken and burgers served half cooked of hot plates pizza have been place out for eating half cooked doe still raw in middle rooms are old tiles are cracked in bathroom as well as sink been cracked 2 single beds pushed together some staff are great others are rude I would avoid at all cost

We. Went as a family. The appearance is nice. On the phone the beach was nice swimming pool. Who's nice? But the The Food? Was awful cold The same each day. Complain to the chef and manager no understanding. Avoid this hotel if you got young children. I frequently Go to Tunisia, and this is the father's worst one.

Hotel staff was entertainers are very friendly and do their best too make your stay extra fun. Restaurant has great food lots off choice. Hotel room clean and was clean every day. Spa was good value and would recommend booking a massage. All in all great holiday .

We had a lovely time visiting Royal Thalassa. However it was the staff that worked so hard that made it for us. From Walid always checking in and serving us at our poolside sunbeds with a smile and friendly conversation, making sure we were always hydrated, 10 stars to Walid, to the restaurant staff Makram and Sama greeting us with our table set up every day with our drinks ready for us. They really made us feel welcome and well looked after. 10 stars to them. The animation staff (especially ‘Ste’ and ‘Leo’) were outstanding with balls of energy and they made sure they included us in everything, again 10 stars to them… I am absolutely horrified to find out that they got sacked for no reason… but it does not surprise me as management did walk around talking to the hard working staff like rubbish while we were there unfortunately.. the hotel would do well to remember who leaves a lasting impression on the clients and makes them want to come back… it is the hard working staff that make our holiday, they definitely deserve a pay rise AND some respect. The managers let the whole hotel down unfortunately but I am still giving it 5 stars due to the hard working staff and the atmosphere they created 🥰

5 star, hotel? You're having a laugh. 7 days at hotel booked with EasyJet holidays. Timely transfer from Enfidha airport and check in. Nice clean lobby and pool area looked fine. Surrounding area, a wasteland. All internal areas had meagre AC. Entertainment seemed limited but of no interest to us anyway. Sparse outdoor seating in the evenings unless you use the restaurant tables and chairs. Room - We had reserved a pool and seaview room (376) which was adequate in size for 2 people. Daily water supply in 2ltr bottles. Small, empty fridge. Room dated and plain. No drawers for clothes. Kettle and coffee/tea but they don't seem to supply milk/creamer. Bring your own. Small old TV with jumping grainy picture and BBC World Service the only English channel. No USB for your own media. Roomy bathroom but 3 times we had water dripping down the walls from above. Had to use towels to soak up the water on the floor. Daily cleaning very underwhelming. Room not swept and the same bedding all week, not ideal when the inadequate AC barely kept the room below outside temperature. 30TB deposit for safe. Nice balcony and seaview but mozzies a bit bitey at night. Wi-fi very patchy. Pretty good in room 9MB/s but less/none elsewhere and regular dropouts. If you have the time (we didn't) a local Orange 10GB SIM at airport was 31TL but they only take cash. Food - warm at best and samey. Labelling poor and a risk of cross contamination. Best food was from the outside grill at lunch and dinner.. We got grilled prawns, calamari in garlic butter sauce (yum), beef liver etc. All served fresh and HOT. Breakfast OK. Omelette cooked to order, coffee nice and hot, churros, yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit and occasionally freshly squeezed orange juice. Disappointing chewy baguette bread. Croissants were the rubbery type too. Foul, tasteless 'butter'. Thin, under seasoned soups. Reasonable salads and excellent fresh fruits including dates. Wouldn't come here with kids unless they can live off pizza or fries (if you can grab any). As expected, there is the usual rude melee with these lower* AI setups. You can sit outside with the flies or inside with inadequate AC. We had our one free evening at the Mona al-a-carte. A little better than the buffet, and it was nice to be served at the table away from the usual impolite scramble. Drink - No self service and little table service so be prepared to get in line. Full strength? Don't make me laugh (cry?). My wife rarely drinks. A glass of advocat gets her tipsy back home. First night she had 3 beers and 2 vodka/cokes and was completely unaffected. I'm convinced the liquor is all the same basic low/no strength stuff given dodgy individual flavourings. Tip. Buy the Celtia beer in 33cl bottles. OK it costs 9TL but 5% and tastes much better than the seemingly 0.0 AI draft swill served in kid's plastic tumblers. The price of the limited imported alcohol, not surprisingly, stratospheric. Do yourself a favour and get a bottle of your favour

I was there for a week and i suggest everyone to find another location. The rooms are decent considering how old the hotel is, but the service and the location get 0. First issue we had was with the rooms. We where a group of people and some of the group paid extra to receive a room with sea view - but they received the worst possible room with a view of the back of the hotel, the person from the reception didn't cared that they reserved a room with sea view. We had the all inclusive option. The food options was missing most of the days. Had 3 out of 7 days where i decided to eat past because nothing else was ok. We had issues with the staff also. We where suppose to receive a bottle of water each day in our room, but we had days where that didn't happened. Each day they will come in the morning, take our towels and get new ones 4-5 hours later so if you wanted to take a shower in the middle of the day(lets say before going to lunch, no towel to use). A lot of options where marked as included in price but when we got there most of them required additional pay or required a deposit that needed to be paid in there currency or if you used euro/dollars you would receive at the end there currency. The beach was small, not enough places for everyone that was staying in that hotel. We had included on a la cart diner that we had to book it in advance and select the menu in advance also, but when we got there them menu we received was not the same that we selected. Overall i suggest you find another hotel to go to in Tunis

Arrived at the hotel and wasn’t greeted well just told to sign papers. We arrived at half 12 am so our room wasn’t ready which was understandable. I asked if there was anywhere to change into swim stuff so we could chill round the pool till we was ready. I was told I would have to use the cramped luggage room to get changed. Once we checked in at 2pm , room was clean and nicely presented. However nearly every other day towels were missing which we had to chase up multiple times. The air con was awful and may as well not existed. We slept on top of the bed waking up sweating. Food was okay, the best was the breakfast most things were made to order, the lunch and dinner were very repetitive but all the bar and kitchen staff were lovely. The drinks are poured from bottles so usually are room temp and flat. By the time you get your food the staff can get you a drink because they are that busy. There needs to be self service on the soft drinks to help staff clean and reset tables since it is such a big resort. Another frustrating aspect was playing sunbed wars, you would have to get up around 6 to secure a sunbed even though the hotel have a no reservations policy. The hotel was covered in flies and plastic cups are not washed properly also. The entertainment was same old and gets boring after being there for a few days. Overall, wouldn’t recommend for the price you are paying.
