This is a hotel in a small town where you can also take a day trip to the hot springs, but the food was delicious and the staff were all very efficient and I felt very comfortable. This is a hotel in Onneyu Onsen. It is located by the river. The hotel rooms are large and new. The staff are very polite and speak good English. There are many facilities in the hotel such as a game field, karaoke, etc... There is also a restaurant that provides ramen, etc. food. The hotel is only 15 minutes' walk to Beihu Ranch, Shanzhi Aquarium and Guomenglin Rest Station. It takes about half an hour by bus to Liuberui Railway Station.

I stayed at the route in Muroran, so I thought that Kitami was also a route inn, but when I took the stay just before, Kitami was already full! Dommy Inn Kitami is a little higher. The joint bath can be used in the western room with the unit bus. There is no Chinese menu in the time zone other than breakfast, and Saturday and Sunday are popular shops lined up with local 々.

Only the lobby and several rooms were renovated while the rest are rusted and falling apart. Upon check in at 3pm we were told the original dinner time we have booked and CONFIRMED were no longer available and only 8pm were available. Fine. As outside were snowing hard we asked if they have any umbrella available and they just answered “NO”. Even a business hotel have umbrella for rental. How they dare to called themself “Grand” Hotel? When we arrived at the dinner buffet we were left with what’s essentially left over from the previous guests and nothing gets refilled. At 9pm suddenly they told us for the first time they are closing now and literally kicked us out of the buffet with no explanation. None of the staff speak any proper English and this is the worst ever Onsen hotel experience. Don’t waste your time and money.

For an old hotel, it was quite nice. The room was a twin bedroom, and two beds were placed on the tatami mats. The hot spring was large and there was an open-air bath, which was very nice. It was a tourist hotel. It's close to Sounkyo, so I think the location is good.

I came here advised by the staff at my hostel, looking for a tattoo-friendly onsen. This is a large, fancy resort and I don't deny I felt a little out of place at first 😁 The place is super nice, yet the entrance (without towel fee) is only 1000 yen, or 800 if you have the discount coupon from the hostel, which is conveniently next door. I have very large, very visible tattoos (including on my arms, legs and neck) and I was allowed entrance without any issues, although in some of the bath areas there are signs that say ”No tattooes”, which I figure must be old. There are a few different pools, both indoor and outdoor, including an open-air bath on the 7th floor, overlooking the magnificent mountains and gorge. I was the only foreigner and the only person with tattoos. I'm so stoked I could experience such a place, definitely worth visiting if you have tattoos and are in the Daisetsuzan area!
