Great location in the castle walls & very close to the entrance on the right hand side. Excellent view & host! And the breakfast - made to order from the host in your room or on the balcony downstairs. Try the local Greek treats! The suites are cozy with fireplace & very clean and comfortable. Book in advance, you will not be disappointed. Note I suggest to drop your luggage at the entrance of the castle, then park your car. And there is generally a lot of stairs and uphill walking in the area, so bring comfy shoes! It is very unique location, easy day trips by car, and worth it to visit!

Pros: Breathtaking views and very spacious rooms. Location is perfect if you’re staying in Monemvasia. The breakfast was great with a good variety of choice you can order. Staff is very nice and helpful.
Cons: Some of the furniture seems quite old and the room is a bit oddly furnished but overall still nice.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our trip in September, what a fabulous location and stunning small independent hotel that is perched up a flight of stairs in the lower town. Once we entered through a door and we were show up to our room on the top floor (4 rooms in total). The room was excellent, spacious, clean and very comfortable with a huge shower and bathroom. However this hotel is ALL about the views from the balconies that are truly stunning. See photos. We ate the hotel restaurant and the dinner was excellent and the dining area is situated on a small private balcony that overlooks the ocean with views that are spectacular. The breakfast was also excellent with a very good choice and lovely views with very good service. Highly recommend and once in a lifetime place to visit. Top Tip - Make sure you drive to the castle entrance on arrival and unload all your luggage, then contact the hotel to help with your luggage while your partner parks the car on the mile long road or at the free car park at the bottom. It’s about a 20 minute walk up from the bottom car park or there is a bus service that charges €1.20.

Επισκεφθηκαμε το κατάλυμα για 2 βράδια .Η εμπειρία ήταν άριστη.Μειναμε στη σουίτα moni emvasis ,χωρίς να έχω ανάλογη εμπειρία από άλλες αντίστοιχες έμεινα απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος από τη διαμονή και το service που μας παρείχαν.Το πρωινό είναι επιλογή από τον κατάλογο και ότι δοκιμάσαμε 2 μέρες ήταν άψογο.Επισης διαθέτει και εστιατόριο το οποίο δυστυχώς δεν προλάβαμε να γευτούμε.Αν μου δοθεί η δυνατότητα θα ξαναπάω !

L’hotel è meravigliosamente inserito nell’incantevole borgo. La camera è spaziosa, elegante e curata nei dettagli. La vista dal terrazzo formidabile. La colazione è servita sulla terrazza vista mare e propone ottimi prodotti locali. È a disposizione un ristorante molto interessante. Certamente è un piccolo hotel che rimane nel cuore.

Monemvasia is a tremendous town to visit and understand the heights of the Byzantine civilisation, but it's not an easy place to enjoy without spending time and having a bolt hole. This property fulfilled that brief perfectly and we had a brilliant two night stay here. Breakfast was good, the suite quality, terrace, air con and view 5 star and the hotel gave us towels so that we could enjoy the dramatic sea swim outside the gate at the platform. Superb.

Amazing room with incredible ocean views. I couldn’t have chosen a better spot for my short stay in Monemvasia. The hotel is located close to entrance to the castle which makes it convenient. Nectaria the manager, makes sure you are confortable and arranges for someone to help you with luggage once you are at the entrance of the castle. Breakfast was also perfection. One day I will go back. Thank you for helping me create wonderful memories.
