"Excellent location, parking."
Bastione Malvasia Hotel (ex New Malvasia) ★★★
"It is exactly worth your money. The hotel is in a unique place, right in the castle-museum, so rarely. Breakfasts are excellent In the night quiet Clear Authentic I'm delighted!"
Aktaion Hotel ★
"Fantastic value. We paid a few pounds more for a "superior" room and were given room 17. Two balconies, with wraparound views. Certainly not a £50 view!! Can't rate highly enough. Right on the causeway so very convenient. Spent a very happy afternoon just sat on the balcony taking in the view."
Venti Seaside Adult Hotel ★★★
"A very friendly guest who made us guided and gave God recommendations. A nice breakfast in the garden with fresh stuff. Nice swimming pool and sun grass with big screen for football WK. Nice stay!!!"
Quattro Suites ★★★
"Wonderful hotel with a swimming pool, very clean, welcoming. The host Eva was wonderful, she treated us to a local drink, gave us maps and tour instructions. All the staff were very kind. I will visit again!!"

"Apartment in Monemvasia located near the center. Nice and quiet and you can also park here. Nicely decorated rooms, modern style in bathroom. Douwes Egberts coffee on the first floor for free. Staff is helpful with bringing suitcases to the room."
Byzantino Boutique Hotel ★★★
"The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and included local delicacies. The only drawback was that the bathroom was small and it got quite wet when using the shower."

Villa Diamanti
"Beautiful views, lovely property offering everything you would need. Only problem was total lack of signs on property. Sign just says Villa Plus on a very very small sign on a public lamp post. Eventually after a couple if hours git hold of local rep who we met up nearby and he showed the way. Really must get a villa name plate on the actual gate at the main entry!"
Filoxenia Hotel Monemvasia
"Lovely hotel right on the sea shore with a great view of Monemvasia, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. There was plenty of free parking in front of the hotel. Monemvasio is quite small so everything is within a 5 minute walk, plenty of nice restaurants and tavernas. The breakfast was again typical of that in the 5 hotels we stayed in on this trip in the Peloponnese, not great but this was a great place to stay and I would heartily recommend the hotel."
Villa Luisa Exclusive Residences
Annema Hotel and Restaurant
"We have been coming to the Annema most years since 2011. Why ? The hospitality of Nikos and his family, the spotless rooms, great for a Peloponnesian summer, the unbelievable view, the excellent food, the swimming from the jetty, the quiet, all at very reasonable prices; and an easy 15-20 minutes into Monemvasia. Much nicer than staying on the rock, at least in our opinion."
Kinsterna Hotel
"When a hotel is really great, I review it for myself. I love looking back at my reviews to remember my most wonderful travel experiences. This will be one of those reviews. We found the beautiful Kinsterna Hotel is a coffee table book called “Great Escapes Greece”. Obviously, we checked TripAdvisor before booking! Kinsterna exceeded my expectations in so many ways. - We arrived late after the restaurants were closed. The staff (who seem to care for the place like they own it) offered to have club sandwiches waiting in our room. - They grow and make SO MUCH on site. Olives, oranges, marmalade, wine grapes, so many vegetables, etc. What hotel does that! Try the local Kidonitsa wine. - If I’m not mistaken, the pool was fresh water from a well. No chlorine, no salt. - The building has more than just history. Take the tour to learn how they turned ruins into a magnificent complex. - Seriously amazing value - I just wish the flights to Greece weren’t so expensive. - We stayed in a villa, which was built 10-15 years ago. Amazing craftsmanship like you never see any more. I wouldn’t stay there for the spa. The people were nice, but there was room for improvement."
Sempre Viva Suites
"Pros: Great pool, spacious modern rooms with several balconies, beautiful location. Cons: not cheap, a 5 minute drive to Monemvasia for dinner. The place was luxurious with not that many guests. We used it as a base to visit Monemvasia and Elafonisos. Fabulous seaside scenery."
Monemvasia Village (ex Topalti)
"We booked a room for three nights, with air conditioning clearly included among the advertised amenities. We checked in at 3:00 PM, left our luggage and went out for the day. When we returned to the room at around 2:00 AM, we discovered that both the air conditioning and the TV were not working. With temperatures of approximately 32–33°C inside the room, sleeping was practically impossible. The following morning, we immediately reported the problem. We were told that the previous guests had not mentioned any issue, but that the air-conditioning unit would be replaced. They even sent a technician, who confirmed that the unit was indeed faulty. And then what happened? Nothing. When we returned later that day, the air conditioner had not been repaired or replaced. Instead, they had left us a **fan**. A fan, in a room we had specifically paid for with air conditioning, during extremely hot summer weather. The air-conditioning unit was never replaced during our stay. What made the experience even worse was their attitude when we complained at check-out and pointed out the obvious: a room without functioning air conditioning should not be charged at the same price as a room offering air conditioning. Instead of apologising and taking responsibility, their response was astonishingly defensive and rude. We were told that **we should have reported it on the first day and that it was essentially our fault**. Apparently, according to them, guests are expected to inspect the room and verify that all advertised facilities are working, rather than the hotel checking the room after the previous guests leave. They repeatedly used the fact that they had “sent someone immediately” as if this solved the problem. Yes, they sent a technician — **who simply confirmed that the air conditioner was broken. He did not repair it.** Confirming a fault is not the same as fixing it. Eventually, they offered us €60 back — effectively valuing the lack of air conditioning at €20 per night. To make matters worse, we were also told that they “know our kind” and deal with customers like us every day. That comment says a great deal about their attitude towards guests who have the audacity to complain when they do not receive what they paid for. And if they genuinely believe that we went through all of this over €60, they completely missed the point. This was never about €60. It was about paying for a room with basic advertised amenities, spending our holiday nights unable to sleep because of the heat, being promised a replacement that never happened, and then being treated as if **we** were the problem for complaining. A technical problem can happen anywhere. What defines a business is how it handles it. In this case, the failure to fix the problem was disappointing. **The way we were treated afterwards was unacceptable.** Unfortunately, this experience seriously affected our holiday, and based on both the accommodation issue and the attitude we received, I cannot re"
Likinia Hotel
"Exquisite niche castle hotel"
Ritsos Guesthouse
"Hotel staff went above and beyond for our family. Terrific breakfast spread and incredible views from the cocktail bar. We stayed in one of the apartments and loved it. Tons of room and great water pressure."
Moni Emvasis Luxury Suites
"Great location in the castle walls & very close to the entrance on the right hand side. Excellent view & host! And the breakfast - made to order from the host in your room or on the balcony downstairs. Try the local Greek treats! The suites are cozy with fireplace & very clean and comfortable. Book in advance, you will not be disappointed. Note I suggest to drop your luggage at the entrance of the castle, then park your car. And there is generally a lot of stairs and uphill walking in the area, so bring comfy shoes! It is very unique location, easy day trips by car, and worth it to visit!"
Alta Vista Studios
Cyrenia Guesthouse
"Very clean room. The lady at the reception was very kind and available for any information. We stayed for one night and everything was great. The air conditioning was just not enough because it was winter and it was cold. But the price was fair for this 5 star hotel."
Ardamis
Malvasia Corner Studios - ex Romeo's House
"Returning to Monemvascha after a year, and staying in the same room at the same hotel, felt like coming home! The host was still as welcoming as ever, like meeting an old friend… The hotel facilities were complete, the room was clean and tidy, simple and practical—everything was just right! It's a hotel with great value for money, a place you can stay with peace of mind!"
