Isla Bella Beach Resort & Spa - Florida Keys

What an amazing Gem in the Florida Keys. I've been traveling around the world a few times over and this place is a new favorite. Staff, location, and the scenery was on point. Planning to go back there again soon because it was such a nice stay and Vegas is very cold during this time.

Your staff member Chanda put a smile on our faces every time we saw her at her various jobs .We first met her at the Main bar then the Sushi Pavilion and the following day we went to the Main pool because she was serving there. We hopefully will see Chanda on our next visit

Great property and great staff. Will stay here again gladly. Beautiful sunsets and the entire property is well designed and well laid out. Easy to access all the amenities. The bar scene is very strong and the musical entertainment each night was great.

We had a good experience overall, but we did have billing and cleaning issues. The billing issues were corrected after 3 calls. The room cleaning was sketchy at best. We had 2 rooms ~ 1 two bedroom and a 1 bedroom. Both rooms had cleaning issues. They would not clean them until well after 4 pm and did not make our master bedroom bed nor clean our bathroom. One night, we had to step outside and ask the cleaning staff to quit screaming at each other after 11 pm as it woke us up. They did move away to continue their argument. Also, I made the mistake of forgetting to check a closet when packing (master bedroom closet was in hallway not in bedroom area.). I called as soon as we landed in Dallas at 3:27 pm the same day to ask they ship 3 items I forgot. The most expensive was my trench coat. They shipped (dress, pants) for $35 (took 10 days) and could not find the trench coat (same closet with the pants and dress). When I called the person I spoke to saw the items but the trench coat went missing before it was shipped back to me. No reimbursement or apology.

We had planned day trips from Isla Bella, yet once we got there, we truly didn’t want to leave! One of the most relaxing places we’ve stayed! From the amenities to the service, the food, the bar, the views and the awesome staff, there wasn’t any thing more we could ask for!!!

The Isla Bella has a lot going for it. Having 5 swimming pools to choose from means it never gets too crowded and everyone can find their own space, whether you're a family or a couple. There are lots of complementary activities for the kids. The location is great in the mid-Keys, so trips elsewhere are easy and it's walkable to the old bridge which has stunning sunsets and is a great place to ride the hotel's free bicycles. At first, you might think drinks and food are pricey but then you realise it's just about normal for this part of Florida. And we got to see manatees in the small harbour near the marketplace, where they line up after the fishing boats return. What lets the place down is genuinely poor customer service. We made our reservation about 8 months ahead, with a stated "pay at the resort" rate - but that still didn't stop the hotel taking over $700 from my credit card on a random date a few weeks later. They ignored repeated emails and I eventually gave up, seeing it as at least keeping the bill down when we stayed there. Sadly, they took another chunk of money from my credit card after we checked out and have so far refused to identify the nature of the charge. You can try emailing the admin, reservations or stay email accounts, even moving on to named individuals - but they just do not answer their emails and, after getting nowhere, I've had to start a chargeback process with AmEx. It's a real shame the customer service is so poor, as I liked our stay here, but I won't be rushing back any time soon.

We arrived to the resort and loved our room. It was a king one bedroom suite that was perfect with two bathrooms. The food in the main dining restaurant was amazing so much that we ate there twice. We chartered a boat with friends from the resort and that probably was one of the best parts of the trip. The resort is extremely clean. We definitely will go back.

We had such a wonderful, relaxing time at Isla Bella . The staff were so friendly and welcoming . Any concerns or requests were quickly acknowledged and taken care of . Special thanks to Ruben at the Beach Bar he made us feel like family , truly a friend for life . For a nice getaway with good food , drinks and atmosphere I would highly recommend this little piece of paradise in the Florida keys .
