My boyfriend and I visited this hotel for our first night in Italy, and we could not have asked for a better way to start the trip. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was very comfortable, and the food was incredible. It was a short drive to Montepulciano and Pienza so we were able to explore the two towns without expending too much energy. The area was relatively quiet, so we were not disturbed by loud noises. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Tuscany! It’s perfectly enjoyable for individuals, couples, families, or a group of friends.

Six of us stayed at this villa in monticchiello. the villa and grounds are absolutely beautiful. each room had its own bathroom. HUGE property. we used it as a home base as well as made dinner one night. we were there five days. Guido and his Aunt Sonia made us ALOT of coffee in the morning, we had yogurt, toast, pastries and eggs and bacon every morning. MOST importantly, our trip to this area could not have been as incredible without GUIDO helping us plan our itinerary, find drivers for friends dropping in, recommending villages, towns, restaurants, vineyards. We will miss this property but we will absolutely come back and visit these people. absolutely incredible place to stay.

A spacious and very clean room, in a comfortable location near the centre, a large parking, very friendly owner. Quality/price ratio is greater than excellent. Advised in particular as a base to visit the valley of Orcia.

Il secondo anno che vengo in questo splendido hotel dotato di SPA, un hotel davvero molto completo in quanto ha una piscina al coperto di tipo termale ed una all’aperto dotata di ombrelloni e lettini gratuiti per gli ospiti. A completare i servizi la sera musica dal vivo sul prato all’inglese nel giardino è una colazione continentale davvero completa sia di dolce che di salato.

The location of the hotel is great, the ancient city of Pienza can be seen by opening the curtains, and it is only a 1-minute walk away. The service is also quite good, the breakfast is rich in categories, recommended!

Great choice for touring Val D'Orcia. Stayed two nights here in April. This was our third visit to Pienza but our first overnight stay. Picked the Corsignano primarily because it offered free on-site parking and was only a short walk to the the old walled town. Delighted with our choice. It ticked all of the boxes. Friendly reception, nice (very) clean room with terrace, comfortable bed, great shower, good breakfast, short walk to the beautiful old city and great restaurants. Free on-site parking was actually quite limited and was full when we arrived. The receptionist moved her own car to free up a space for us. No problem the second evening. The receptionist did inform us that due to government requirements for energy conservation we would need to call the desk to turn on the heat if we wanted it. We encountered this in other hotels also. We were very comfortable without it. Pienza is the ideal location for touring and enjoying the Val D'Orcia and the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. The views approaching Pienza from the south in the evening are stunning and unforgetable and the views from the Belvedere behind the Duomo are pure magic. The iconic winding cypress roadway at La Foce and the tiny Capella Vitaleta are just a short drive away - (the Capella is now open to the public down a 15 minute walk) Everywhere you look is a painting. Pure magic!!

Capitati per caso cercando una soluzione per la notte nel nostro tour in val d'Orcia. Il palazzo si trova a petroio uno dei tanti bellissimi piccoli borghi i Toscana,la location è bellissima e suggestiva,le camere arredate,con gusto ”antico” e un cortile esterno che si affaccia con una bella vista,dove poter fare colazione e a breve cenare, dico a breve in quanto la nuova gestione ha aperto giusto il giorno in cui noi abbiamo alloggiato,il personale molto gentile e disponibile, vero c'è qualche piccolo punto da perfezionare,come la scelta della colazione o qualche piccolo accorgimento nelle camere,ma sono sicura che avranno il tempo per migliorare quindi 5 punti meritati. Se siete in zona sicuramente consiglio di alloggiare qui.

Thank you for making my holiday so special! I felt so great staying in this castle and the whole experience was just amazing. Huge rooms and beautiful Tuscany's landscape. I liked the swimming pool and the jacuzzi so much. The check-in lady was extremely friendly and always helpful and smiling! Thank you once again. I highly recommend this place, and I wish to return again with my family to this beautiful castle!
