We wanted to stay in a small Tuscany city and found this sweet gem. It had a gorgeous garden full of olive trees and flowering bushes along with a swimming pool. It was so refreshing to swim after a full day of seeing the sights in Siena. The room was perfect, sheets were super lux as were the towels. Bed was a nice king which is unusual. The staff were absolutely the best. Very helpful in answering all of our questions and recommending good spots for dinner. We went wine tasting close by which was a treat. We met many people who were hiking the trail that goes by the town. If you want a quiet experience in the middle of Tuscany this is the spot.

Un Hotel di charme in un borgo stupendo. Accoglienza davvero cordiale e sensazione di essere 'a casa'. Stanze pulite e confortevoli in esatta armonia con la tranquillità di una location 'slow' che trasmette la vera essenza turistica e romantica della Toscana del Chianti. Unico hotel all'interno delle mura del castello di Monteriggioni. Prezzo all'altezza delle aspettative e del servizio.Consigliatissimo.

This is the ine and only hotel inside the castle. With Internal parking and electric car charger. A little pool with solarium and an astonishing garden. Topical Tuscan style. A gemstone. Great breakfast on the terrace and five star hotel Yakut service and cleaning

We first visited Monteriggioni 16 years ago and 8 had a pipe dream to stay at the local hotel. Fast forward to 2023 and we stayed for 4 nights. Great location, the hotel was quiet, staff very helpful, great continental breakfast. Clean room, plenty of towels and sheets changed during our stay. Local restaurants all very good so you really don’t need to wander far for dinner.

The receptionist was very helpful when we checked in. They have a limited bar service at any time, so soon after checking in, I went down to ask for some Prosecco. I did mention it was my birthday and he insisted on giving us two glasses on the house. Very nice gesture. The common parts are all very nice, with interesting China sculptures which we enjoyed seeing. The weather was not warm enough for us to sit out in the garden and enjoy the pool with the views, but that would be wonderful if the weather were better. Breakfast was very good, and generally they were very friendly and helpful. the only reason I did not give it five stars was that the room was a bit dark and small. You could not say it was luxurious, but for a fascinating old town, it was a great place to stay.

a very welcome sight after a long days walk on the Via Francigena. Super helpful and friendly at reception. rooms spotless, well equipped and nice decor. breakfast was great too - fortified for the day's walk ahead.

Entrare dentro le mura del magnifico borgo di Monteriggioni, parcheggiare nell'ampio parking dell'hotel e prendere possesso della propria camera al secondo piano. Già questo meriterebbe le stelle. Ma non basta. La cortesia di tutto lo staff, l'ottima colazione e la sensazione di essere coccolati, rende memorabile l'esperienza del soggiorno in questo grazioso hotel (11 camere). Da provare!

Già il titolo FAVOLOSO esprime appieno il mio pensiero, location bellissima, elegantissima e pulitissima,camera con vista su Sangimignano.La gentilezza della Signora Francesca e del suo staff sono da 10 e lode. Ti mettono subito a tuo agio Francesca si sembra di conoscerla da anni e parli volentieri anche di cose di famiglia. Sicuramente vale il prezzo che chiedono.Bravissimi andate avanti così!!! Consigliatissimo per dei momenti romantici in un oasi di pace.

Not the 4 star rating , such as the quality of bed, shower, airco, or room in general, then you have a high price for a poor quality. Typical for a tourist trap. Very disappointed. Also a very strange way of refusing to give you the invoice, of which you are entitled to receive it
