Hotels Near Asshai in Monterrey

This is my first post covid hotel (although we still in pandemic) so I had a little torn and I took a grateful surprise. My 10-year-old daughter and I went only for one day and was very pleasant. At our arrival we felt later to enjoy. Antibacterial, signs in the floor of healthy distance, thermometers, careful foods, maximum host 10 people and everything was respected at all times. The room was not complete clean they were stains in some of the surfaces and the lamps were not clean. The service at the restaurant is very poor as I waited at the hostess table around 10 min and no one came over so I felt it was very lack of service but the food overall is good. The facilities are okay but the SPA is still closed. I had a great experience as it closed to the areas I needed to be and the front desk was very helpful. The comfort of the bed and pillows are great! Excellent views of the cerro and the amenities in the room are just great smell so good.

The hotel is located just two streets from Cintermex and Fundora Park. I think it is one of the best options if you need to go to these places, not only for the neighborhood, but also for what is the new hotel, because it is located in a square that is still in construction. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly, they are following appropriate health measures and the cleaning of all facilities is very good. I recommend it and would be my first option in the next trip to Monterrey.

It has more motel services than a hotel, the room is spacious but it is easy to hear someone who is not only on one side but on the entire floor, the bed is firm and not soft, there was no towel in the room, it was requested and They brought it, the breakfast is simple but fulfills. Overall a pleasant experience, we only spent the night as we were going to a concert. 8 minutes walk away there is a metro stop

The double room (2 single beds) is very small. No hairdryer and iron. The internet is slow but manageable. The drainage in the bathtub and bath sink always clogged up. Very noisy from 9 PM to 5 AM due to the bar club nearby (playing music all night long). Would not recommend to stay on the weekends (best is during weekdays). We stayed from Saturday through Tuesday (12/10/22 - 12/13/22). The hotel looks fine but the surrounding buildings/stores look old and shaggy. Very dirty in this area as people littering trash on the street during the day (and the government clean it up around midnight). Free breakfast is very simple just breads, cereals, and juices. The morning front desk staffs barely speaking English (the night staffs are okay). Most of the major attractions are walking distance from 1/4 to 1 mile. Lots of restaurants and bakeries nearby the hotel and food is very cheap. They have FREE shuttle to take you within 10 kilometers distance. We took the shuttle to the point view (mirador in Spanish) where you can view the whole city of Monterrey. The taxi from the airport is $25 USD and roughly 33 minutes drive. Taxi and Uber are also cheap $2 to $5 per trip for 3 persons within 1 to 5 miles. If you are on a low budget, stay here and the hotel is closer to all major attractions. Otherwise, go to the new town or old historical town is much better (1 mile from this BW Centro).

Customer service is amazing. From desk, restaurant, lobby staff, maintenance and cleaning crew… everyone with the best attitude and so helpful. Thank you! We started only one night, but I’m sure we’ll be back as this is an amazing place to stay

The hotel itself is very nice. Pretty, clean, and kept well. The rooms as well, Were great; simple yet clean, comfortable, with great views and comfy beds. Even the bathroom was pretty. When you check in, they give you these vouchers for you and whoever is staying with youfor breakfast. So, if you forget it, lose it or just simply don't have it, you can't eat. Breakfast was pretty decent though, a combination of a continental and Mexican breakfast. Plus, staff in the dinning room were very nice and helpful and that is always appreciated, especially early in the morning. Wish their front desk was the same. Their parking is a bit strange in my opinion since they don't have one on site and instead you have to park in a shopping centers garage. I tried to get help from one of their front desk personnel and the look of annoyance on this guys face just irked me, especially since I approached him as polite as possible. At one point, he laughed at us when we told him the instructions he was giving were not making sense. In the end, I assumed he felt us being annoyed and just took a deep breath and drew us a map but even while doing so, was condescending with his tone. Not the best experience. There is a shopping center next to the hotel with stores, restaurants and coffee shops but for the most part, you'll need a car to go elsewhere since there was nothing else nearby. Again, beautiful hotel but not the nicest front desk reception at any point in the day.

It suits who the car is, on the night the gate is closed and you feel completely safe, towels and bedding clean, in the room clean, surprised a huge bed) there are once-time champoo soaps)
