The hotel may be mainly used to receive tourist groups. The environment on the mountain of the hotel is beautiful, patchwork, and the room facilities are relatively old. The 🦚 of the Peacock Garden is amazing, and almost all 🦚 are opening their screens!

Firstly I was a little concerned having read other reviews but overall the hotel was good . Rooms pretty basic no air con but to be honest it wasn’t needed . Bathroom is really big but very dark . Staff were lovely especially the shuttle bus drivers . Be warned hotel in big area and very steep but never had any issues with the shuttle service but it does finish at 10pm . The only let downs were the swimming pool area very underwhelming and the on site restaurant in middle of hotel . Food was very bland and overpriced $ 26 for the worst pasta ever and $40 for a bottle of very average wine my advise is to eat outside there are some lovely places just outside hotel especially a little Mexican cantina food was great . We did the night tour which was ok but nothing special but you can’t guarantee anything when relying on wild life

Amazing Hotel with a great view! Huge Hotel which needs transport in between. A lot of nature in around und between the buildings. Waking up with a sunrise, a huge terrace and the garden in front. Breakfast was also good and the pool with bar and good food we tried.

Nice place. Great customer service. Rooms were comfortable. However do not expect AC it takes a while to cool the room at night,(ceiling fans would help). Restaurant and bar area was nice. Food and drinks very good. Breakfast buffet very good. Coffee in the room not good at all. You would think that in costa rica all resorts and hotels would have great Costa Rican Coffee. 🤔🤔

A beautiful place in the misty mountains.
What i did not like was that the windows had only partial blackout curtains, making a lot of light come in very early. So good for early risers only.

Hotel located on a hill with buildings spread out along it, about 2 to 3 km from the centre of Monteverde. The hotel has a shuttle service to take guests from reception and other services to their rooms. Simple room with little furniture and in need of some maintenance, good mattress. Bathroom with dark colours and poor lighting, but with adequate equipment. Good and varied breakfast.
