Sibu was a wonderful place to stay while in Monte Verde. The hotel employees are very helpful, offering a map of the main town, and the place is wonderfully modern and clean, with beautiful decor. Our only complaint was that our room was off the main courtyard and one of the walls was a window so we woke up to other guests talking outside very early. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and appreciated the modern accommodations and beautiful layout

Nous avons passé deux nuit dans cet hôtel. Très joli, bien situé , chambres modernes avec une belle salle de bain et balcon , literie confortable. Petit déjeuner bien mais si vous ne demandez pas on ne vous propose que la carte ( pas des fruits, pas de jus de fruits - qui sont compris ) . Pas de libre service pour le café - un peu gênant car on est obligé d’appeler qqn tout le temps..

Fui con mi familia y el hotel superó nuestras expectativas: las camas deliciosas, el baño muy cómodo, el restaurante muy bueno, la preparación de cafés y cócteles excelente, la limpieza impecable, la ubicación es muy cómoda y el personal súper amable y atentos. Hotel muy recomendado al que sin duda volvería.

Beautiful hotel! Upgraded our room for unknown reason but, hey, we’ll take it! Good food. Close to Santa Elena Cloud Forest. Shower in room to die for. Nothing but good to say about this place!

The door to our room doesn’t seal so ambient noise is an issue. There are zero hooks for hanging a coat in the room. Also we were below the sun deck and people dragging metal chais on the deck above is VERY loud. Put up a sign. Other than those easy fixes you’ve got a great place! Justin was our bartender and an absolute delight. Hold on to him.

In dem renovierten Hotel hatten wir ein schönes, modernes Zimmer, wobei das Bad sehr klein war. Direkt neben dem Hotel hat es eine Bar/Restaurant, wo es gute Drinks und ein feines Frühstück gibt. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Einen Abzug in dieser Bewertung gibt es, weil bei unserem Besuch schon frühmorgens Baulärm zu hören war. Einerseits aus dem Hotel selber, andererseits aus der Nachbarschaft. Auch von der Strasse war verständlicherweise Verkehrslärm zu hören und wenn andere Gäste mit ihren Rollkoffern vor dem Zimmer durchlaufen, bekommt man dies voll mit. Dies ist schade, wenn man sich in den Ferien Ruhe wünscht. Zu diesem Preis haben wir uns mehr Schutz vor Lärm gewünscht.

Lovely stay Sibu Lodge. Has been renovated so lovely rooms and grounds. Room had very good AC shower bathroom and bedding. Not far from centre Monteverde and close enough for Selvatura Park and Ziplinig . Very clean and great team of maids. Room for improvement The bed in room 31 was very creaky and uncomfortable. The worst on our whole trip. The breakfast was a choice and it was ok but not many options and not advised if drinks included or not The restaurant staff not friendly and asked what we wanted and then never came back. I did not know if I would get a drink or not so eventually got orange juice but no hot drinks offered. They weee not busy so could have given better service. The transport had been arranged to next destination but not told it was only cash and we did not have enough as been using card. None of the bank cash points was working for cards but reception desk was not enthusiastic about helping us. We asked if we could pay in card and be given cash but they had no urgency and we nearly lost our transfer. Luckily we found out PayPal worked and managed to get on bus after one hour Otherwise Sibu lodge is lovely and not 2 star but breakfast and checkin via computer could be a nicer experience

Excellent stay! The property is new and very well maintained. Looks very pretty in the night times. Staff is very curteous. Highly recommend this property!
