For the positive: Large deluxe double room, very comfortable bedding, excellent quiet location but only a few hundred meters from the center, MAGNIFICENT property very well maintained (look carefully, there is at least one lazy person who agrees with me and who lives there almost permanently), beautiful and large bathroom, impeccable wifi, charming staff Small points of improvement: Really little: noise from the neighbors' shower very present (especially with neighbors who wash themselves 3 times each per day) and very good breakfast but which does not vary (we spent 3 nights there, this perhaps explains it)

Gorgeous grounds, felt like an oasis. Jennie prepared a delicious breakfast each morning, including a great homemade salsa and homemade marmalade. She also pointed out a sloth (perezoso) sleeping in a tree outside. Josephine was kind enough to help me book a night tour and to find a kayak tour in another city . Highly recommend.

The service and location were great. The staff was very nice and friendly, and were so helpful with suggestions on tours and restaurants. You can walk (5 minutes) to plenty of restaurants in main town of Santa Elena. For animal enthusiasts like us it was great, we saw plenty of beautiful birds on property and we even saw a sloth on hotel property on the first day of visit. We will definitely be back to this property.

A great hotel within close proximity to the town center in Santa Elena. The hotel offers a beautiful garden, spacious rooms and a friendly and helpful staff. Ask them for help with tour and travel bookings and they will assist you in no time. The breakfast is a generous and tasting buffet in local cuisine style. The rooms also offers a private terrace with rocking chairs, as well as a fridge in the room. Only complaint is that noise travels easily between rooms and we could hear the neighbouring couple very easily..

This place was an incredible deal! Wonderful and helpful staff, beautiful grounds, the room was great and outfitted well, and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay again. My kids loved the gardens and we could easily walk to town. They helped arrange dinner reservations and tours which were all excellent.

We LOVED our stay in the house of the hotel (Casa de Luna). It had plenty of beds and bathrooms for the whole family and it was nice and cool and comfortable. The surrounding plants and trees on the property are beautiful and so well-maintained, I loved seeing green parrots and other birds in the morning, and relaxing on the hammock. Plus it was close to so many great activities. I would definitely stay here again.

Séjour parfait, l’accueil est agréable ainsi que les services proposés. Personnelles très chaleureux je recommande cette hôtel pour tout type de personnes, l’endroit parfait pour y passer quelque jours dans le monteverde!:) C’est aussi proche à pied du village pour allez manger le soir .
