Lovely, spacious cabin in beautiful setting. Lots of wildlife literally on the doorstep (an armadillo!) and nice trails nearby. Walkable to a grocery store and restaurants, and just across the road there is a popular viewpoint for watching the stunning Monteverde sunsets. Very friendly, helpful staff organised an awesome coffee tour for us. A really special, unique place to stay.

Saw toucan, toucanette, agoutis, coatis, armadillos + other birds on the property. Sit outside your cabana and you will see animals walk by Be sure to talk with reception about restaurants or tours, every recommendation they made was good

Wonderful self-catering accommodation in gorgeous, very convenient setting. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff - helped set us up on tours. Beautiful walking paths for bird spotting.

This place is fantastic, we stayed in cabin 9 and it is very private and delightful. The moment we arrived the staff were incredible, spending time talking to us and helping with excursions etc. The location is ideal as it is out of the backpacker/tourist trap part of Monteverde, so you feel somewhat like you are in the forest away from the greasy masses! The cabin was a bit rustic, with no A/C but was absolutely fantastic nonetheless. If I was ever to return to Monteverde, I’d stay here again.

Sehr gepflegt Anlage mit eigenen kurzen Wanderwegen und einer Aussichtsplattform mit Blick auf den Golf von Nicoya.
Wir hatten ein Junior Cottage und es war alles perfekt. Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Rundum alles super und nur zu empfehlen.
Fussläufig (2-3Min) ist eine Bäckerei/Cafe, ein Supermarkt und mehrere gute Restaurants entfernt.
Ich kann Los Pinos uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

The cabins are all surrounded by forest and the wildlife is all around too. Hammocks are a nice touch for relaxing after a strenuous birding hike at one of the parks nearby. There's a grocery store a few steps down the road as well as a great bakery, souvenir shops and much more. Anna was super helpful and her suggestions for activities made the stay even better. The cabin we stayed in had a resident Lesson's motmot on a branch outside the window and toucans also stopped by. The animals were abundant with peccaries and coatamundis (sp?) all over the place. Highly recommend staying here, everything you want to do is close at hand in Monteverde and Santa Elena. The Belmar brewery is just around the corner too.
