This hotel looks like a palace and is unique. The food provided by the restaurant in the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced, which left a deep impression on us and is worth recommending.

The Hotel is extremely well located. It is a few meters from 18 July with an exchange office (with the best rates I found in Uruguay) very close by. Easy access by bus, the stop if I'm not mistaken is less than 100 meters away. Breakfast is very good, the options are repeated a lot, but very tasty. The bathroom left a little to be desired with that model with a bathroom below, it could be dangerous for the elderly and very uncomfortable for me who is 1.81 tall. Some of the pillows had a strong odor and I simply ignored it. Air conditioning didn't work so well, it took a long time to cool the room. The bed was 2 single beds joined together, which hindered comfort a little. I rate it from regular to good. The location was fantastic. In general, I recommend it to people who are not very demanding and who are going to take their days to walk around and enjoy the location. If you need to work in your room, I don't recommend it.

Le desayuno fue bueno. La entrada al hotel es muy bonita las habitaciones estan bien para el precio aunque en el baño habia olor a pis. Tuvieron muchos errores en las reservas. Habiamos reservado con un mes de anticipación, confirmado por telefono antes de llegar, todo venia perfecto. Hasta que llegamos y no dejaban entrar a mi marido y mis hijos. Yo aún no estaba en el hotel, pero ya habia avisado que yo quien habia hecho la reserva llegaba con un poco de retraso. Tanto los email y las llamadas previas no sirvieron para nada, ya que no estaba la persona que me atendió, se ve que hay poca comunicación entre las personas que trabajan allí. Al momento de reclamar se pasaban la pelota entre ellos. Luego logramos que nos dieran la habitación y resulta que al entrar habia 3 jugadores de futbol, que también a ellos les habia sucedido igual, habian encontrado alguien en la habitación. Nos dieron otra pero en vez de triple , doble. Dormimos muy mal ya que eramos 4 en dos camas. Luego de un viaje de 14 horas. Pero nadie nos logro dar una explicación ni solución

La ubicación del hotel y la calidez del personal lo mejor. En la habitación no había calefacción, tampoco había frazadas, por lo que tuvimos que pedir, éramos tres y nos dieron dos frazadas. El ruido de los aires del piso 4 era insoportable, no se podía morir. El desayuno podría mejorar, el huevo revuelto estaba seco, casi quemado, y ponían poca cantidad.

Visité Montevideo entre el 10 y 14 de abril, con motivo participar en Clases de Metafísica que se desarrollaron en este hotel. Ese fue el motivo de mi elección. Y no me equivoqué. Todo el personal que trabaja en este lugar atiende con mucha amabilidad y deseosos de resolver. El check-in es rápido y expedito. Lo mismo con el check-out. Deseo felicitar a Don Miguel, quién siempre se mostró presto a asistir a mi madre, de la tercera edad y problemas de movilidad. También destaco el personal del comedor , donde sirven el desayuno buffet. Atienden de maravilla, mantienen todo limpio y aseado. Siempre pendientes de recoger la loza usada sobre las mesas. Atentas de reponer los alimentos del buffet ,que es abundante y variado. Este hotel está ubicado en pleno centro, a media cuadra de una de las principales avenidas de Montevideo, con mucho comercio: tiendas de ropa, farmacias, casas de cambio, restaurantes y supermercados. Posee estacionamiento. La infraestructura general del Hotel es un poco antigua pero con buen mantenimiento. Las áreas comunes muy limpias . El servicio de camareras excelente; la habitación siempre limpia y lista a la hora que uno retorna. El cambio de toallas y amenities es diario. Este hotel es Muy recomendable!!!!

Reserved a room for 3 adults and 2 children, they would not honour our reservation saying the room would not accomodate the baby and that we would need to book an additional room. After arguing for 30 minutes, they finally let us have the room.
