Unbeatable location. Perfect room for shower and sleep. It was quite hot for its location and size, but the air conditioning works well. Although it may seem silly, we miss a towel rack in the bathroom. The reception staff is very polite.

Nous avons occupé 2 chambres, une twin et une double. Les deux étaient plus grandes que la moyenne, bien entretenues, très agréables, propreté irréprochable. Petit-déjeuner très bon, produits de qualité, souci du détail, salle très joliment agencée. Notre seul désagrément (mais l'hôtel n'y est pour rien) a été d'entendre le bruit d'un club à proximité, mais c'était samedi soir, je suppose qu'en semaine ce n'est pas le cas, et ça doit dépendre des chambres. La notre (ch.17) a entendu, celle de mes enfants (ch.1) pas du tout. A part ça l'hôtel est très calme, double vitrage sur les fenêtres et ambiance feutrée. Globalement c'est un hôtel nettement plus agréable que la plupart de ceux de sa catégorie, voire supérieurs. Enfin, toutes les personnes y travaillant que nous avons rencontrées se sont montrées très attentionnées et aimables, ça aussi c'est très appréciable.

The Hotel des Arts offers excellent value for money in a very affordable, no-frills package. The hotel is in a rather beautiful old building in the heart of Montpellier, close to the station, the Comedie area and dozens of narrow streets containing many bars, shops, restaurants and cafes.
The youthful staff are friendly, helpful to a fault, knowledgeable and speak excellent English.
Our room was clean, though small and basic, with no tea and coffee making facilities.. However, when we asked the receptionist, she went out back and found us a kettle and a couple of cups. What a lifesaver!
The basic continental breakfast (€10.50 extra) was good and tasty, with plenty of fresh fruit and hot coffee.
The only things we didn’t like were the bed, which was so hard as to be rather uncomfortable, and the lift, which is tiny and extremely claustrophobic.
Overall, though, for the money, l would recommend the Hotel des Arts to any traveller on a budget, especially if arriving by rail, since it is an easy 5-6 minute walk from Montpellier St Roch station.

Hôtel situé dans le centre de Montpellier à quelques minutes à pieds de la gare St Roch. Chambre bien équipée et très calme donnant sur une cour intérieure, literie de qualité, petite salle de bains très propre. Bon petit-déjeuner avec du choix : pain, viennoiseries, jus d'orange frais, thé de qualité, céréales, fromage Accueil très sympathique et professionnel avec une grande amplitude horaire. Bon rapport qualité-prix

L’accueil est particulièrement sympathique. La chambre était très propre et le lit confortable. J’ai passé deux bonnes nuits. L’hôtel est très sécurisé car la porte principale donnant sur la rue est en permanence fermée à clé. Je n’ai pas testé le petit déjeuner

Bon accueil de l'équipe de l'hôtel des Arts durant mon weekend à Montpellier. Bien situé à 5 minutes à pied de la place Comédie et proche du tram. L'hôtel propose le petit -dej que je n'ai pas pris afin de profiter du beau temps en terrasse Chambre bien aménagée et propre. Je recommande. Je reviendrai Merci

L'hôtel est très triste et la chambre est gloque. Certes l'équipe est sympas mais je n'y retournerai plus. Les photos sont trompeuses. Très bruyant et très mauvaise fréquentation autour de l'hôtel. L'hôtel est toujours fermé par sécurité et ils doivent vous ouvrir à distance... Je vous déconseille cet hôtel avec une chambre qui n'a aucun style, très vieillot, très vieille salle de bain

Bien que situé en centre ville, les chambres sont au calme. L'agencement de la chambre est bien pensé. La décoration est sympa et la literie de qualité. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible. Quatre très bonnes expériences qui me font revenir toujours dans cet hôtel, belles qualités à l'intérieur et beaucoup de possibilités dans son environnement proche (tramway, boutiques et restaurants, bars...)
