"The restaurant offers a rich breakfast spread, including fresh-squeezed orange juice. The restaurant is combined with a bar, and they also provide luggage storage. The room itself was pretty good, though there's a railway nearby, so you might occasionally hear trains passing at night. However, both the bathroom and toilet were clean, and the bed had a light and power outlets. There's also a water dispenser in the hallway. Overall, it's quite good."

"A trainee receptionist greets you with a warm, natural smile, promising a wonderful stay, much more so than the rather cold, older receptionist. The bedding is excellent, and the welcome note is charming and poetic. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and high-quality, yet still allows for intimate moments alone at breakfast. Excellent value for money. Close to Odysseum, which we discovered during our visit to Montpellier. We will definitely return to the Campanile Le Millenaire."

We were given a form to hand in at reception that evening, on which we could indicate what we wanted to eat for breakfast the next morning. This was not commensurate with a breakfast buffet. We indicated that it was a deep disappointment and we received a refund for the breakfast. That is fair."

"Very good hotel, good location for the southern part of Montpellier, easy access on foot, tram or car. Beautiful common areas, large well-equipped rooms, a full breakfast with a beautiful room and terrace. Afterwards, it is quite impersonal, live your stay without having to deal with the staff."

"Obliging staff - at least they tried to be. Shout out to John and Samuel in particular. But that's where the compliments stop. Absolutely dreadful first room. Supposedly superior double!! Huge pillar in the middle of a very small room with a fairly large antiquated bathroom to the side. Small double bed. Didn't sleep a wink. Given a second room for remaining three nights. Leaking air conditioning unit ultimately resulting in pool of water, foul smell, and the need for staff to bring extra towels to leave on the floor to soak up the drips. Told couldn't be fixed until following week and no other rooms. Offered a breakfast as compensation. REALLY!! Plus noisy, cramped, in need of renovation throughout. ABSOLUTELY NO FACILITIES. And not really even terribly well positioned in our view - but some may think otherwise admittedly. I would suggest AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. (Although from the outside this is a lovely looking old Montpellier home which I am sure had its day.)"

"This hotel is in a great location right next to a tram stop. Just walk up the road and through the shopping centre and you are into the central part of the city. The staff at the hotel are helpful and there is unlimited free coffee and water near reception. Room was a decent size with small kitchenette , be sure to download the local tram/bus app , using this is very cost effective. The tram will take you down close to the harbour and beaches."

"This is the most cost-effective Ibis I have ever stayed in at this price. The parking lot is in the basement of the building where the hotel is located. The entrance is 50 meters before the hotel. There is a parking lot. Turn left and you will see the entrance to the underground garage. There is an intercom to communicate directly with the front desk. It costs 5 euros a day (during the stay). The fee can be paid at the front desk later. The hotel is very clean and practical. Although there is not much storage space, it has made some shelves, which are actually enough. There is a very large supermarket and gas station opposite the hotel, which is very convenient for resupply. The staff is friendly, and the handsome guy who stayed on the first day was very patient. Thank you very much."
