The property concierge didn't speak French or English. Made the check in difficult. Did not like having my ID and credit card photographed. Not a safe practice

The room was fine, the problem was that we could smell the sewer gas coming from the bathroom. My wife and I had to leave while the day was still black as she was going to be sick.

Good deal for a good price; the staff are friendly, the hotel itself is clean, and the location is great. I was a little surprised by the lack of kitchen utensils and toilet paper available, but spent little time in the hotel itself so was not a big issue.

It is a decent property.. not sparkling clean but clean enough. Has shared bathroom for all rooms. Best bang for buck is the location, you can walk to old port in 25 minutes, and St. Catherine street dining options are just 5 minutes walk. Free street parking in weekends.

No private toilet in my room as planned, no hot water for washing, large hole in the wall of the bathroom we could see the mineral wool and the hole was at least 2/4 feet, it It wasn't very reassuring knowing that there are a lot of rats in Montreal and not soundproof. I find that $330 for a room like that is simply stealing and abusing people.

This B&B style is very old but very nice people. The building is too old and needs a major upgrade and renovation, Must have an elevator if not if your weak not recommended.
