I was really impressed with the hotel and the service I received. The reception staff were incredibly polite, courteous and helpful. The valet car parking very convenient. The lobby ambiance was quaint, cozy and stylish (beautiful old exposed stone walls, fireplace seating area, gorgeous wine cellar) that made you want to hang out for a while. My room was very clean and spacious and the amenities (complimentary water and chocolates, Nespresso machine and nice toiletries) were appreciated. We went for dinner at Garpar, which is attached to the hotel (didn't even need to step outside). The food was delicious and the service just as good. I'll definitely be back. I imagine the area by the waterfront would be particularly beautiful in the summer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Très belle expérience! Chambre unique et propre! Belle ambiance! Service impeccable! Seulement que l’endroit était bruyant . Difficile de bien dormir! Nous étions dans le vieux Montréal alors c’est du à l’emplacement! Si vous aimez l’action c’est un endroit parfait! Merci beaucoup pour toutes les belles petites attentions pour ma fête! Bravo!

Beautiful hotel with friendly and professional staff. The bottle of wine and chocolates in the room was a nice touch. My wife and I found the bed to be extremely comfortable and the view of the Saint Lawrence was magnificent. It was also very convenient to have two restaurants attached to the hotel, particularly as we experienced several days of cold wet weather.

This is an excellent hotel with very good staff in Old Montreal and an easy walk to downtown Montreal attractions. We had a great mid winter get away to one of our favorite cities, and mostly walked to attractions, however we also used the underground transportation to visit thw Biodome located several miles away.

The room was utterly charming, with a lovely view of the river, an exposed brick wall, and comfy bed. I loved the coffee bar and wine glasses (which I used!) in the armoire, and an upholstered chair for reading. The shower was unbelievably luxurious. The staff was exceptional. From the front desk staff, to the concierge, to the valets, they were friendly and very helpful to two slightly bewildered American tourists visiting Montreal for the first time. The valet parking was effortless (for us!). We arrived early and the valet was right there to greet us by name. They not only securely stored our luggage until we could check in, they also brought our bags up to our room after check in. The location was perfect; just steps from everything in the old city (restaurants, shops, attractions, the river walk). It was a short 10 minute walk to a Metro station that took us all over Montreal. I can’t say enough good things about the Auberge du Vieux-Port. It’s the best!

The Valet, Yves, was super helpful during our checkout process. And the entire staff has our compliments for their outstanding service. The room was very comfortable and clean. Our room faced the river and we loved the tall windows. The hotel is walking distance to everything you'd want to see in Old Montreal. We will definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect hotel for our trip to Montreal! It's in the heart of Old Montreal, adjacent to two restaurants (Gaspar & Pincette - Bar à Homard, both terrific), and across the street from all that the riverfront has to offer. What made this hotel special were the people. The concierge took care of our car and bags, all while warmly welcoming us to Montreal. The staff answered the many questions we had about the city. One maid went out of her way to find a thinner pillow when I asked if one was available. Everyone was wonderful! The hotel itself has a *very* comfortable lobby area, complete with leather chairs and sofas. Coffee and cookies are put out daily. The rooms are well done. I don't know how they managed the ventilation system, but despite long hot showers, we never steamed up the mirror! Best of all, the staff opened the rooftop deck so that the guests could enjoy the eclipse on April 8th. We didn't expect this, and it ended up being the absolute perfect place to view the big event! I highly recommend the Auberge du Vieux-Port if you are planning on visiting Montreal.
