Hotel William Gray

I love this hotel nestled in the heart of Old Montréal and Old Port. I had a great room with a wonderful corner view of Old Montréal, it’s rooftops, the Grande Roue and the little cafes and boutiques below. Room is very comfortable. I love the long modern working desk, the comfy lounge chair, plush bedding and above all the spa multi jet shower… Because of pandemic restrictions most of the amenities of the hotel were not accessible. The hotel has such a nice lounge and bar area but I couldn’t go there. The gym was also off limits. There is an outdoor courtyard that was advertised as open even in the winter with fire pits but it wasn’t accessible during my stay. My only complaint would be that my room was drafty but I also stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the year and I could adjust the heat in the room. I asked for a throw blanket to cuddle in while reading in the lounge chair. They brought me the cuddliest faux fur blanket, I was almost thankful for the draft. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay here. In my opinion, this hotel is more geared towards adults (solo/business/couples/adult getaways) rather than families with young children. It has a high-end, modern, chic vibe. However, I’m quite sure they would accommodate children too. Photos don’t do the view justice. They were taken during a snow storm with poor visibility. Under normal conditions, was really nice and at night, so beautiful with all the lights and illuminated Grande Roue.

Impressive hotel. Worth the extra expense to treat yourself and spouse.

Great spot right in old Montreal, lots of shops around

hotel staff was friendly in general but I expected more from a high-end hotel like William Gray. we was conveniently located to access many great things offered in Old Montreal and had a very relaxing stay overall. i look forward to returning to the hotel.

Our stay at William Gray was amazing! Starting from the luxurious suite we stayed in with a great view to the impeccable service we would definitely stay here again! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. Looking forward to coming back.

The hotel was wonderful, but it all starts with the staff which was impeccable. From check-in to check-out everyone was terrific. The room was a good size and rather clean. The only thing about the room that i would change would be the addition of a shovel, there was a balcony but becasue of the snow it was mostly unusable. Also the room doors should have self closing mechanisms, because it got very loud when people closed their doors. But seriously it was an awesome place to stay and if we ever go back to Montreal this is where we'll stay.

Fabulous hotel in every way. The location in Old Montreal is great. The rooms are modern with all conveniences and extremely comfortable beds. Dreamy shower. But it’s probably the service that makes it so fabulous. Every single employee we interacted with was totally professional, friendly and did everything possible to improve our experience. We were attending a wedding at the hotel during our stay, which was smoothly and beautifully managed. Highly recommended.

Everyone at the William Gray was so pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the amenities were great as was the food! The common spaces had a chill vibe and the restaurant and cafe were always full with a diverse and cool group of people. I would definitely revisit for business and absolutely for a weekend get away!
