Hampton Inn & Suites Mooresville/Lake Norman Reviews

No updated technology. No USB ports. Overall, room was dirty. Carpets were sticky. My family put the bedspreads on the floor, so we could walk on them instead of the carpet. We will not stay here again. Just passing through. Hotel needs some major renovations.

Absolutely wonderful! They had cheese grits! Everything was so clean! Staff are amazing! Room was perfect and so comfortable.

Really nice Hampton Inn - super clean and friendly. Loved the setup of our king bed room, especially the long bathroom counter. Also a huge shower vs a tub you have to climb over to shower. Samantha, who oversaw the breakfast area, was fabulous and incredibly helpful! We walked to Joe Fish for dinner. It was Saturday night and they were out of prime rib. Didn’t bother us, as we wanted fish. Go early on a Saturday if you want prime rib. We had North Atlantic Haddock, with stuffing and lobster sauce. Outstanding. It will be hard to match this restaurant on the rest of our trip. Great place to stay, with a fantastic restaurant nearby. Hope we can return.

The staff at this hotel were notable friendly. It has nice curb appeal and had decent parking. We had a suite so it had two rooms, both of which were good size. Although I can see some advantages, I don't love that the bathroom sink is outside of the bathroom is in the same room in the beds, but that seems to be the norm for suites as of late, so I guess that's what people want. There were also no dishes at all provided in the kitchenette. I know this is not abnormal when it comes to suites...some have dishes, some don't...it's just something to note if you're staying here. There was some wear and tear evident (door handles and trim, caulking etc.), but it was clean. All in all it was a good suite and we were happy with it. I would stay here again.

Convenient location right of I-77 exit; several walkable restaurants and a gas station convenience store. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast area was clean and had many different options. I reserved a king room, but they only had a 2 queen room when I arrived that evening--not a big deal, as I was travelling alone. Although close to the Interstate, the road noise was kept in check other than a few passing emergency vehicle sirens. Think window shades allowed for a nice dark room at night. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and had adequate parking. I would stay here again.

Upon arrival, I was greeted appropriately. Upon arrival, the room appeared to be in order. But when we showered in the morning, the shower handle fell off. This was so obvious it had to have been ignored by housekeeping. Additionally, the toilet was not stable. It was so loose it was difficult to use. This is not Hilton standards.

Good experience at this Hampton Inn. Friendly reception. Good service during check-in. The rooms are well equipped and have all amenities. Breakfast is well presented and here also friendly service. All together a good hotel if you are in the area for business or leisure.

We brought a friend that doesn't travel much or stay in hotels and she could not get over how friendly and nice everyone was. We usually stay at Hampton Inn or a similar quality hotel. This was the best one that we have stayed in.

The hotel is located a minute from I-77. Convenient to many restaurants, shopping and the lake. The staff is courteous and professional. The breakfast is very good. I will stay here again when I travel from FL to PA and back.

The staff is not friendly and welcoming. There is not room service is your stay is shorter then four days. There was a toilet plunger in the hallway for three days and ants in the room. It seemed like this hotel was housing homeless

The staff was friendly and willingly provided whatever service requested, from extra towels to toiletries. The complementary breakfast was basic but helped to fill the morning hungry void. The coffee was very good and available 24 hours.

Experienced 5 vehicles that were vandalized and broken into the night of our stay.All the same windows. (hotel does not assume responsibility)Thieves looking for guns. Avoid this hotel and area as it is a high crime area.(should have been alerted upon arrival as they have you fill out make model year and color of car with zero explanation why) Security cameras point to ground and do not capture any parking lot or outside activity. Very disappointed and felt unsafe. Water leaks in room and bathroom.Ice machine broken. Temperature fluctuation. Front Desk staff unable to apply Hilton points to my stay. Had to pay full price. They did not make you feel welcomed on arrival. Only provided 2 room keys, needed 5.

As a frequent fisherman on Lake Norman, I always stay here. Their service is great, they have plenty of outside electric outlets with good parking. They take really good care of me and treat me like I'm really appreciated.

Hotel is in desperate need of updating. Rooms and furniture old and dirty, mattress uncomfortable, housekeeping non-existent, and over not a value at all. Have stayed at this location previously and it was ok hence that's why I went back. Will NOT be back.
