Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Corfu

This was our 5th time staying at Domes Miramare since 2020 - before this, we would never return to a location twice! We had another amazing stay at Domes Miramare in October. The hotel has such a wonderful ambience, from the moment you walk through the lobby with the beautiful view, and the smell that you won't forget. The entire team were very friendly throughout our stay, but we need to say a special thank you to Maria K. She was especially kind and went above and beyond to make our 5th stay extra special (a true credit to the Domes Miramare team). We loved walking through the lobby in the morning after breakfast hearing the beautiful piano music (thank you Eleni!) Breakfast and dinner were wonderful and the waiting staff were warm and accommodating. The room was stunning with a beautiful view of the ocean just a few yards away perfect for a swim as the sun rises. Corfu is a beautiful island, that is easy to explore with a small car! Thanks to the team for making our 5th stay so special - we hope to come back in the future!

I am here with my husband for a much needed weeks r and r. We were upgraded to a jade room in the new hotel which has a jacuzzi which is great but I get bitten so won't be using it as on the balcony. The room is a great size as is the shower room which is very powerful but you have to run it for a while to get hot water which we have just found out. We chose the hotel rather than the beach front part of the hotel as it has an amazing pool and did have a great restaurant which has now closed. The service around the pool is minimal and there doesn't seem to be much staff over 18 in this part of the hotel. Ordering food for lunch at the pool bar is a bit painful as you have to go to the bar and order and then wait 30+mins. Had an argument with a guy who had left his beds for over an hour so they gave us their beds so that wasn't fun as not many sunbeds around the pool area so you can't leave your towels and go off anywhere for a long time if it busy. The breakfast is a buffet and has a lot of the usual stuff but cooked food seems to be left a while... Pancakes look tired and inedible, we did try but we're cold and dry. We've been here for 3 nights and had one turndown in 3 so that's pot luck including being left a small bottle of water each in the room. The staff at the beach part of the hotel are more experienced than in the hotel but there aren't enough of them on either site. The restaurant is nice but the chef tries to do fancy food which we didn't want and the service there was terrible the kids serving preferred talking to each other than taking orders or taking dirty plates away. This is our second time here and we won't be coming back. They need to train their staff to give a good customer experience as expected in a hotel of this standard and need managers on both sides of the hotel. Had to just request some water for the room 15 mins ago and still waiting..

We have just returned home after a wonderful trip at this beautiful hotel Domes Miramare, Corfu. This is our second time here and we loved it so much we extended our holiday. From the moment you step into this hotel you will feel you are in paradise. The entrance hall with the amazing 400 year old olive tree and marble flooring will instantly wow you. We were greeted by Christopher Sino Guest Relations Manager with a welcome drink and a wonderful greeting back to the hotel. He showed us to our beautiful seafront pavilion retreat room. The room has ample space with a marble bathroom and a lovely outside area. We booked a whirlpool which had patio and we were definitely stunned by the lawn gardens which led direct onto the sea. We must say huge congratulations to the ground staff who look after the gardens the flowers are beautiful. The restaurant 1962 is simply amazing, compliments to the chef Kostas who walks around and will advise or help you with his menu. His food is outstanding truly À la cart and of a very high standard. This year I think he had more control over his menus and he’s definitely got it right. I noticed a review said the food portions was not enough but to us it truly was more than we have had at other hotels with an À la carte menu. I’m sure if you wanted more the chef would accommodate. The staff here are so attentive, very friendly and so very knowledgeable about the food and wine. A big thank you to Maria who greeted you with a warm smile each day. The ambience and scenery sitting right on the sea front is truly breathtaking. We also ate in Raw restaurant which is Asian cuisine and once again outstanding. We had the most wonderful experience here at this hotel and the staff will do anything to ensure you are enjoying your stay. We thank Christopher Sino Guest Relations Manager for his exceptional hospitality and friendly manner. All of the management staff are available throughout the hotel including the GM Ioanna who is truly lovely in her approach to guests. They all go over and above to ensure you get that luxury experience. This hotel also has a pavilion wing which is honestly stunning with a very large pool and wonderful soft big sun beds. If you book a sea view room here the view across the Ionian Sea is absolutely stunning. The luxury you will get here and the quietness will definitely allow you to unwind and totally switch off. We have stayed in many luxury hotels before and this one is possibly one of the best for being right on the sea front, quiet, relaxing and allowing you to totally unwind. They have kept the authenticity of the Greek experience with a beautiful piano most mornings whilst you are enjoying an amazing breakfast at the 1962. This is buffet style with fresh fruit, meats, salads, pastries and hot food. Compliments to the chefs at the egg station for their excellent omelettes. Entertainment in the evenings are varied from light Greek music to a wonderful band. We travelled to this hotel from the UK

One of the best vacations we’ve ever experienced…the atmosphere was amazing, very kind staff at the reception and the restaurant… great room with beautiful big balcony and stunning view…. The restaurant has everything, it is perfect for breakfast and dinner… our room was always clean…. One of the best luxury hotel we’ve ever visited

The location is perfect, the staff is very helpful and accommodating, the food is excellent, varied and fresh, something for all tastes, as are the spa services, which are at the highest level. The hotel and spa are amazing, the place is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed it very much. We loved everything from the view and the great breakfast to the wonderful treatment in the spa area. I loved the spa, me and my boyfriend had 2 different types of massages: hole body and a face massage. My masseuse did a great job that made me come back a second time and convince my boyfriend to join me. She adapted to my needs and made me relax. It was one of the best massages I have ever had

This was my second visit to a Domes property, my first being the Domes Miramare in Corfu. The property is beautiful, located approximately 35-40 minutes from Corfu Old Town and around 25 minutes from the airport. The staff is exceptionally warm and attentive. A special shoutout to the front desk manager, Francoises. She works tirelessly to ensure your stay is perfect and is truly fantastic. Yannis, the food and beverage manager, is incredibly knowledgeable about the food, wine, and cocktail scene, and is just a genuinely nice person. Gannis (I believe his name starts with a G) is a great bartender at the Blu Bar, friendly and full of wonderful local restaurant recommendations. Kristos, another superb bartender, also deserves a mention. Spiros, our server on the beach, was the kindest and nicest, making our daily mojitos on the beach a delight! The hotel offers a variety of daily activities, from morning outdoor yoga with the wonderful instructor Elkin, to local olive oil tastings. One evening, there was a mini orchestra playing on the green, creating a beautiful and serene atmosphere. I highly recommend getting a massage with Anastasia, who is a fantastic masseuse. Overall, I highly recommend the Domes. It’s a great property with outstanding staff.

It was a great experience staying at this hotel.The view was amazing,the sea was very clean,also.The food was delicious and very tasting.The staff was very kind and friendly and always with smile and ready to serve us.Our rooms were always clean and the prices were affordable.

We stayed at the Miramare at the end of the 2023 season, loved it so much we immediately re booked for the beginning of the 2024 season. And this time we extended our 10 night stay by another 5 nights - that tells you how good it was! The Miramare is just so relaxing, right by the Ionian Sea which tends to be crystal clear and calm. There are of course boat trips and water activities if you want them. We took an all day boat trip to mainland Greece, swam in the Blue Lagoon, stopped at a small bar on the way back. The area of Moraitika / Mesongi isn’t huge but has everything you need there. We took a tour around Corfu and this area definitely more traditional than some of the other tourist type resorts. The hotel itself is some 150 rooms suites and villas split across two areas, waterside and panoramic, each with a different feel. Upstairs is very modern with a large chill out pool. There have been some minor improvements since our last visit, like changes to menus. Its lovely that evening meals are served to the table not the usual buffet style. All the staff are friendly and work really hard. Too many to mention by name but it was lovely to see so many familiar faces still working there. Our favourite change was the call buttons for service on the beach. We were on the Half Board Dine Around option. Food is amazing with both a standard menu and daily specials menu in the main restaurant, an option to dine at the Asian and Fine Dining restaurants and a complimentary lunch all included. Our tour round the island showed us other resorts and hotels. Miramare is still the winner. Looks like we’ll be booking it a third time next season!

We stayed 3 nights at Domes Miramare. The property is beautiful and relaxing. The units are spacious and well appointed. Also, the buffet breakfast is fantastic. My primary complaint is the lack of attention for top tier Marriott members. As a Lifetime Titanium member they refused to upgrade us to a suite even though there were multiple suites available for our stay. When we checked in to the room there were 2 wine glasses. The lady that escorted us to the room said there should have been a bottle of wine waiting. She asked if we wanted red or white and said it would be delivered right away. It never came. I told her the next day and she said she would take care of it. Again it never came. Along the same lines was the housekeeping. It was hit or miss what items they would restock or clean. One day the coffee bar was restocked, the other it was not. Another day they left the dirty towels on the floor. Needless to say for a Luxury Collection property they have some improvements to make.
