Delfinia Hotel

Delfinia Hotel ★★★★

📍 Corfu, Moraitika

"Our 2 weeks at the Delfinia have been amazing. The staff go out of their way to be friendly. The hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained. The gardens are peaceful. The food is good and plentiful. The dining room staff are amazing, big thanks to Alexandra and Angelikka. We travelled with my sister in a wheelchair and our table was reserved at each meal. The room (104) was a bit on small side but we had requested a ground floor with a pool view which was accommodated. The room service was daily and room and bathroom were immaculate. This is our second visit and was just as good as the first. Dining room access has changed with a long steep ramp or a staircase but we managed. The pool was amazing but some more chairs should be made available. I have difficulty getting up from a sun bed so prefer to sit on a chair. My husband brought one from the bar area and was challenged by a staff member who didn’t understand the need for a chair at the pool. The local village is worth a visit with small tavernas and a few shops. The beach is pebbly and not ideal for those with walking difficulties."

"After arriving in Athens, I booked a three-day vacation in Corfu. Before the epidemic, I booked flights on the official website of airlines and hotels on Booing. This time, I used Ctrip to book round-trip flights and hotels from Athens to Corfu for the first time. I didn't compare prices, but the booking process was very convenient and fast. Because I wanted to relax and vacation, I chose the Domemiz Resort Hotel, which is half an hour's drive from the old town of Corfu, for three nights. After renting a car and driving to the hotel, I found that this decision was very correct. There are no must-see attractions and no many tourists. It is really "facing the sea and spring flowers blooming." The sea view room I stayed in is facing the swimming pool and the beach, and you can go in and out directly from the small balcony. I spent two days relaxing and sunbathing in the hotel, facing the Mediterranean Sea with jelly orchids. If you don't count the cost of domestic flights to Greece, I personally think that the cost-effectiveness is better than Sanya's five-star hotel. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. It was almost 10 o'clock in the evening on the first night I arrived, and the hotel restaurant had stopped operating. The door service staff helped move the luggage to the room and brought some burritos and snacks to the room. The guy at the front desk helped me book a rural hotel on the hillside not far from the hotel. I enjoyed the local Corfu cuisine, which was very delicious. The owner was warm and hospitable, and I spent a happy night. The next day, the guy recommended a mountaintop restaurant with a 360-degree view and very unique dishes. Walk along the beach in the hotel, stare at the Mediterranean blue, bask in the sun, and play with the cats in the hotel. If I had enough time to stay for two more nights, it would be a relaxing and long holiday. When checking out, the hotel gave me a special ceramic Greek Eye, which was a perfect end to the three-day trip to Corfu."

"Lovely hotel in a great location. Very pleasant staff, spacious and clean room. The only downside: the very repetitive meals, which are completely unsuitable for a 5-star hotel; a wider variety of starters and main courses would be essential."

"Stayed here for a night, very busy hotel with just 2 receptionists checking in, resulting in a 30 min queue. Got the twin plus room, which was nice and clean. Breakfast sadly let the hotel down - nothing was cooked to order, meaning everything was presented buffet style. I arrived at 7:30 to Luke warm omelettes and cold sausages. Beach area is nice, and the walk along the beach to cafes and tavernas was a good option!"

Hotel Albatros ★★★

📍 Nat. Road Kerkira-Lefkimmi, Moraitika

"A really good hotel in a lovely spot...but could be really top class with a few improvements. Lovely views from side view rooms. The beach is just across a very quiet road..warmer than the pools at the hotel The entertainment was very poor it wasn't on every night and was like a background sound. All inclusive drinks very poor...wine was watered down and not chilled. Spirits very rough and mixers from a pump. The food was plentiful and hot..just a bit repetitive.plenty of nice salads.Breakfasts really good...fresh omelettes and pancakes. There didn't seem to be air con in the dining and bar areas. Very unpleasant when eating...we had to sit outside. When we asked about it the air con said it was preset it was probably the heat from the kitchens. The rooms did have air conditioning preset at 22 degrees. The pool area was really good..big with plenty of beds and parasols or shaded areas... Lovely walks around the coves ..about 15 min walk to Cavtat town. If you want a quiet hotel in a lovely spot then this for you."

"Stayed in Nasos resort for five nights end of September, honestly can’t fault cleanliness of this hotel , food lovely enjoyed every meal .. our apartment was up steep stairs I wish I had have requested ground floor.. the bar man at night Kris i think was so friendly.. I have to say absolutely no Irish or English guests our time there .. just Germans not friendly.. no one at the bar at night so no atmosphere only had few drinks the first night didn’t stay long as bit expensive to sit alone at bar .. only 5 minutes to beach but again extremely quiet this time of year .. wouldn’t recommend to people looking a bit of craic and holiday atmosphere but would suit those that wish to relax and chill .. I read 2 books in 4 days so all in all lovely chilled holiday but don’t recommend Nasos hotel to English speaking seems to be German visitors only."

Delfinia Hotel ★★★★
"We stayed here for 3 nights HB. The room was nice with a garden/pool view. The room was clean and comfortable with very quiet aircon, but the bathroom was a little tight with the door banging on the toilet when you opened the door. The food was nice with a varied choice and different mains each evening. There were some reginal dishes available and some more simple options. Breakfast was good with a buffet choice including cereals, continental and cooked options including porridge. As mentioned by other reviewers the drinks in the bar were expensive, we had a local beer at 7.50 euros where as the bar on the main street just outside the hotel was 4euros. It would of been nice to have Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. The pool area was clean and tidy with the usual early morning dash to reserve a sunbed for the day. There was a kids pool and play area which looked nice. The sea access was great but not much going on around the hotel or the town."

Alkionis Hotel Corfu ★★
"Our first holiday on Zakynthos this year was not that good due to bad weather (rain, wind, cloudy). We wanted sun and we did not plan the second holiday early, 3 weeks before we travelled we started we booked a trip and a stay in this hotel, of course more expensive then booking very early. Our main focus in all the reviews is "Hotel is clean". For sure this is true. We did not see dirt, our room and bath was very clean, the whole Hotel was clean. The staff doing this was very nice. This was not ensured in 4 star Hotels. Here you get what you pay for. Room was big enough for us both, bathroom size was ok and it was also ok that some water runs in the bathroom, but not a lot. What we were missing was some kind of holder for our shower accessoires. There is no shampoo etc in the bath room. Only a soap holder but who wants to take a shower with soap..? Staff was in general very friendly. I read somewere that the barkeeper Theo collects beer mats, i brought him two and he was happy. So if anyone reads this, bring him something from your area. There are two employees for the breakfast (maybe more but we only had breakfast), the older one was very nice, he sings and says kalimera. The younger one does not even say hello or recognizes the guests, can be improved. In some reviews here on tripadvisor it was mentioned, that one (of the 3) blonde receiptionists is rude. The other two were very nice, i would not say rude but she was not very friendly to me (at least 3 occasions). To my girlfriend she was, maybe its that my girlfriend is more a nice and friendly person ;) but at least in this industry you should be friendly to all. Hotel collects the tax but does not accept this to be paid via card, questions for reasons resulted in a discussion with.. you know.. lady above. Safe costs 2,50 Euro a day, from my perspective this should be included but i was in Hotels were AC costs. Safe is not with number but with a key you need to store. Pool towels are 20 Euros deposist, cleaning costs 2 Euros, i think thats fair. Coming back to AC, it was preset to 24 which was ok for us. It is possible to start night mode so the AC runs the full night, someone mentioned it stops after 20 minutes, thats not true if you use the correct function. Breakfast was.. hm... for my girlfriend perfect, i missed something compared to other greek Hotels. It had a lot of fruits and nice Joghurt and other greek deserts. Sausage, ham and cheeses was ok. The bread or "Brötchen" were not my type but this might be me. Focus on breakfast style was more Brit oriented with beans and stuff. Not my favorite. Only one day we had boiled or fried eggs in 6 days. I expect eggs to be available every day. Twice we had little sausages which were good, the other days it was bacon. In general it was ok but i was missing alternatives. We did not have dinner, the buffet looked ok but the days we looked there was nothing really greek special at all. But there are several nice restaurants nearby were i"

"Beautiful setting and stunning views, but the overall experience was below expectations. Our two corner rooms were quiet but very far from the main areas, and cleanliness could be improved. The service sometimes felt overly polished rather than genuinely warm. 1962 was disappointing, and the Japanese restaurant was quite average. Makris was the exception and the highlight of our stay — excellent food, beautiful presentation, and genuinely attentive service."

The Yard Corfu ★★★★★
"The Yard Corfu is a wonderful little adults-only hotel. We stayed there three weeks after its opening on September 1st and had a junior suite. The room was lovely, the bed heavenly. The whirlpool on the balcony wasn't up yet, but we're looking forward to it on our next visit. The food was excellent, with locally sourced ingredients. I'd especially like to highlight the outstanding service and friendliness of the staff. I've never felt so welcome in a hotel before."

Hotel Albatros ★★★
"We were offered this hotel by Tui when the hotel we had booked informed our travel agent that it was closing early. We booked an all inclusive package. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. The bathroom needed updating as it was impossible not to flood the floor when showering as the doors did not seal but there was plenty of hot water which was good. Be aware that the inclusive package only included ouzo and local brandy, beer and wine in their alcoholic drinks package, white & black coffee, and soft drinks did not include diet options. We were aware that there was a charge for sunbeds around the pool and on the beach but the daily rate for two was a bit more than we expected. Food was tasty but choice was quite limited so a fussy eater might struggle. The bistro bar, where we spent most of our time, provided seating and was right near the beach. The sea was easy to access and looked safe for swimming. The bistro bar was open to the public and there was a noticable difference between how all inclusive guests and paying guests were treated. Paying guests were served and were offered different crockery, with the niceties of crisps or nuts or biscuits with their drinks but not for armband wearers. We got our own drinks and there were no little extras. Athough the waiters were always polite, we have to admit to feeling like second class citizens despite in reality, having actually paid in advance. We were the only British people there and they very much catered for the German holiday market. There was no Tui rep ( which we did know in advance) so no offers of tours or sightseeing but there were places within walking distance that offered those and the locals were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not somewhere that is going to provide children's entertainment but it might suit those who are happy to entertain their own children and enjoy a quiet beach holiday. It wasn't quite what we have been used to when booking an all inclusive holiday but as older people we enjoyed the quiet and being able to sit by the sea and watch the world go by!"

Nasos Hotel & Resort ★★★
"The hotel's quality-price ratio is too high for being in the south of Corfu (30/40 minutes by bike to reach the most central points of the island). The room was large with a nice balcony and a renovated bathroom with shower. Cleaning was lacking, leaving much to be desired. (This type of service is not available on Sundays.) Breakfast has a wide choice and something for all tastes, as is the dinner service. (It's a shame about the poor quality of the raw materials, the service staff is friendly and always available.) They always organize poolside music evenings and you can have bar service. The small pool and few deckchairs make it always very busy. (There is a beach 300 metres away with deckchair service for a fee of €10.00 for two umbrellas.) The structure has potential, but management could be better."

Corfu Pelagos Hotel ★★★★
"I stayed at Corfu Pelagos hotel for my solo bday trip. I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff at the hotel were so diverse and spoke a variety of languages, to accommodate the guests from different countries. Everyone was so friendly and always willing to help. The cleaners were very prompt and always ensured the rooms were clean and well kept on a daily basis. I want to give a special mention to Mahmoud at reception, who stayed open till 2am for my arrival (my flight was delayed). He was very welcoming and as late as it was, he willingly showed me to my room and greeted me with a smile. He even gave me some useful tips of how to get around the island. Every Wednesday evening they have a live band perform, who are very entertaining and amazing live! Highly recommend seeing their performance, during your stay. One thing I’d recommend you consider before booking, the hotel is located on a hill. I personally didn’t mind it, but for people who may have mobility restraints, I recommend you contact the hotel directly, to see if they can facilitate your needs. Once again, thank you very much to the owner, Nicoli and the rest of the staff at Corfu Pelagos, for making my stay memorable. I definitely plan on returning in the near future!"
