I will Start with the good points...The hotel is in a good location, bus stops outside, 5min walk to the beach, shops ect on the doorstep, cleaner is lovely. Now the bad points. The hotel is rundown, surrounded by abandoned buildings with scaffholding, the female receptionist with blonde hair is very rude. When we checked in she snapped at us because we could not understand her broken english, we paid for a late checkout, she informed us the day before leaving that we are leaving at 11am (almost like she could'nt wait to get rid of us) informed her we paid for a 6pm checkout. Airconditioning in the rooms dont work, I asked the same receptionist how to fix it, she told us "thats it, its working". Nope theres was no cool air and she told us it cannot be set bellow 24oC. I had to buy room fans from a shop. The beds are Rock solid with one little pillow and a thin sheet (we had to ask for extra pillows and a duvet) The swimming pool is tiny and dirty with many floatimg insects and peeling paint, the shower is tiny and when you shower the shower curtain sticks to your skin as there is nowhere to move in the shower, also the bathroom floods when you take a shower as its basically a wet room but the water runs off into the hall. The food is terrible, no choice, all greek style food approx 5dishes to choose. Nothing for say children who are used to more western tastes. wasps buzzing about everywhere in the dining room. Lastly the choice of Alcoholic drinks for all inclusive is terrible. you are only limited to a few. I would love to come back to corfu as it is beautiful, but never ever again to this hotel, only reason it got two stars was for location.
