Olive Grove Suites Boutique Hotel

Modern rooms, nice and quiet a**osphere, no party crowd, great starting point for excursions or beach holidays on Mesonghi beach. We stayed here for 5 nights and got 5 tips for taverns and nice spots. Thank you, we had a great few days

Our room was the standard one with balcony: NO: “The boutique suites” are not for everyone (I think they are only in the main building, the remaining rooms are in the other 2 buildings) NO: the reception is also a bar and breakfast room (therefore whoever is at the "reception" can also prepare your coffee and clear the table) NO: whoever is at the reception will also take you to your room, in our case in the building next to the reception: the route consists of a rough road, surrounded by poor olive trees and abandoned vegetation (not a safe situation at all: there is no gate, anyone can enter) NO: as soon as we arrive in the room, we find a water leak under the toilet in the bathroom which we promptly report to reception (ah, there is no telephone, you have to go in person, and this was already a sign): in the following days we understood that it wasn't a question of leaks, but simply, since there isn't much air circulation in the bathroom because it's a hole, the water that comes out of the shower doesn't dries quickly. The sink is the size of a bidet, no hooks for hanging towels, nor for the shower nor for hands, nor for toilet paper NO: The rooms have a view of a field of olive trees and untended vegetable gardens, a receptacle for frenzied mosquitoes that every day, even though we kept the windows closed, we found ourselves in the room. We killed loads of them, as soon as we killed one 3 more would appear, which we did both in the evening when we returned and during the night because they woke us up NO: early one morning the gardener started cutting the grass under the rooms with the electric lawnmower (when you are on holiday it is not correct to allow it) NO: Every morning the girl at the reception, very nice and kind, asked us how we were and unfortunately every day we had to complain about the poor cleaning (it seemed like they had to do us a favor to clean), towels - almost every day we found rust stains and other unidentified ones, as well as on the bed cover, and obviously mosquitoes NO: as soon as we arrived, no hotel sign YES: One good thing was the breakfast ( even if the choice was very limited), the minimum after sleepless nights due to a structure that calls itself a hotel, which charges quite a bit, which does not put mosquito nets in a place that is located inside a field
