If this place is “Best” Western I’d hate to try anything of lower quality. Dirty, dingy rooms, poor internet that keeps disconnecting, garbage littered all around the entrance and, to cap it all, someone started cleaning the restaurant at 10:30 above my room: they stomped around, dragged furniture about and dropped things loudly on the floor. The noise woke me up after a long drive. I was so disgusted with the place I left after the first night even though I’d paid for two. Of course I didn’t get a refund for the second night. If this is the only hotel available to you I’d opt to sleep on a bench along the seafront.

Arrival you are asked to print card with 50.00 taken deposit no choice staff rude over powering smell of aftershave knocks you out when you walk in the door. Charged 3 different prices at bar. For same drink they just make it up. Breakfast black pudding not cooked sausage tasteless best bit was bacon Won't bother going back

Stayed at the Lothersdale as our football team were playing Morecambe so we found it as an ideal base.If iam to be honest I do not think my girlfriend would have been happy if I had taken her here but great for a lads weekend.Got to say the staff were ever so friendly from the bar staff to the very helpfull lady on reception.

I booked an executive double room and what we got was a pokey room with a view ove the car park with rubbish skips and debris. The pillows were misshapen and rock hard. The sheets were too small for the bed. No one in reception on arrival so unable to sort a better room. Won't ever be back 😕

I attended a Christmas Party last week. My friends drink was taken from the table by staff she went to the bar and for a replacement. She was offered a pint glass with fluids in it and was told it was a G&T she asked for a clean glass with a G&T he would not pour a fresh drink, she asked to speak to the manager. Paul Bury then appeared grabbed her, her feet didn’t touch the ground and he threw her out of the exit door into a dark back alley with no coat, phone or money. A guy staying at the hotel witnessed this and challenged John Bury who said nothing his partner was very vocal though. They called the police, 2 police vans and 4 police officers who escorted the guy and his wife were then escorted out of the Hotel by police. . The couple were from Essex and on the street at midnight with no accommodation. My friend is extremely shook up with bruising on her arms. I will never step foot in this hotel again. Thankfully my friend didn’t come to any harm and managed to get back onto the promenade and find us. I have never experienced anything like this if the staff wanted her to leave ask her to get her coat and bag and leave do not put a woman out in a back alley at that time of night. She has bruising on her arms and feels traumatised. A totally serial experience,

Easy to find as its on the front with sea views. Car parking is around the back of the hotel. The staff are friendly and polite and will do what they can to make your stay fantastic. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Tea coffee and milk with biscuits are in your room. Tastefully decorated throughout. Breakfast was beautiful especially the sausages. The breakfast room was clean, decor was nice with lovely sea views

The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard, the bedroom had a wonderful view of the lifeboat station and the coastline. Now for it…..The staff are not trained in hygiene breakfast preparations. The food does not come out until after you enter, not even the plates, the sausage were not cooked, bacon was cold and you had to wait several times to restock the table with all ingredients and they were back and forward with bread, they brought 8 pieces of bread out at a time, 6 eggs at at time. We were a coach of 40 people and they just didn’t know how to handle the demand. One of the days we had roast beef, my plate was full of fat and it was like leather, I requested the assistant take it back to the chief and others did the same.one day we had trifle, the assistant carried several of them under her arms, (hygiene.) None of the tables were cleared away fully after evening meal. We will not return again. It’s a shame it’s a loverly hotel but they don’t cater for a influx of quest at one time.
