Poor customer service, on arrival at hotel the receptionist didn’t even stand up from her chair to greet us, had no knowledge of the area when asking any details, not a good start. Our room was fantastic overlooking the sea, minor issue of shower head not being able to be raised or adjusted but everything else was fine. Breakfast service was strange, no one to welcome you or explain what to do had to do, you had to find out for yourself, although the cooked breakfast was very tasty.

The room was straight out of the 1980's, rusted radiator, wallpaper peeling off the wall, electric bathroom fan hanging off the wall!!! Breakfast was terrible, all food had been pre-cooked, bacon was like beef jerky, sausages had been microwaved within an inch of their sorry lives. Bed was comfy though!

This is a value for money kind of hotel I’d booked into an airb&b but when I arrived I changed my mind- as a solo female disabled traveller I didn’t feel safe at that accommodation At 8:30pm I drove down the prom and saw The Clarendon It has everything you need Car park, clean , calming atmosphere Nice big room and bath shower I had a great nights sleep Breakfast adequate - and a good choice On the down side - reception isn’t manned 247. Its a Victorian building and slightly dated If I’m visiting relatives I would return here

Lovely clean room with a beautiful sea view but very basic shower. The breakfast was awful. Cheap and not cheerful! Jar of aldi coffee to make your own cup, stale croissants, tinned fruit and the cheapest lowest quality sausages I’ve ever seen! The hotel itself is a beautiful old building but the poor quality breakfast was inexcusable.

Comfortable older hotel that whilst it has seen better days, is a perfectly acceptable accommodation for those on a budget. Room was small but clean, window slightly misaligned and therefore didn't shut properly, double glazed pain was misted inside indicating there's a ventilation problem. Breakfast was extremely poorly organised, only a hot water urn, coffee urn unplugged and nowhere to plug it in, no teaspoons, cooked breakfast we didn't order because it took so long to come to the next table and then to top it off, they charged my credit card with the balance of the reservation for 5 people, and also over of my friends who had offered to pay to avoid that situation happening. Have tried to contact via email to have one of those charges refunded but no response as yet... I bet you they say they haven't had any email

This hotel is one of Morecambe's little secrets. It’s not anything special, it’s just a great place to stay. Not fussy, but it’s clean comfortable and friendly. The views front the sea front rooms are fantastic. Imagine waking up to Morecambe Bay and a backdrop of the Lake District. On your doorstep is probably the best promenade in the Northwest. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order with a selection of cereals and toast. Okay its location in the West End of Morecambe is not perfect, but it’s only a short distance to cafes and restaurants, and the Eden Project will only be a ‘stones throw away’.

It was ok and nothing more. Good car park outside which was one of the reasons that I booked it. Room was ok but the roadside traffic was very loud and I didn’t get much of a nights sleep. The windows were poor and the bathroom made a constant noise, presumably the fan. Was nice to walk along the front at Morecambe and was in a good location for that. I asked for a VAT receipt upon checking out and they said that they didn’t have a VAT number which I found bizarre for a hotel. Did the job for a 2 night pass by to Scotland but I wouldn’t return.

Can't comment on the hotel as I booked last minute for family as their sailing had been cancelled. The weather was terrible and I didn't see the car park signs saying that I had to register car number plate at reception. I was there for 12 minutes whilst dropping off my elderly mum and my sister. No one in reception asked if we had a car or informed us about registering one. Just received a £60 parking eye fine a week later. I guess I don't have anything to appeal as there are signs. Just be aware people. So annoying.
