A very good, cute hotel, located in a quiet area not far from the metro. The rooms are clean, comfortable, there are amenities in the bathroom, a refrigerator, a kettle. There is a cafe, which is also very good. I recommend it.

The first shock was that the staff doesn’t speak English. I mean no one in the entire hotel speaks a single English word! You will need to have data to connect to Google translate and hope that the translation carries the same meaning you have. We took the suite for 10 days to visit with some relatives who are in Moscow. The second shock is that visitors are not allowed even if you have the suite - you meet your visitors in the hotel lobby which has a single sofa. It’s beyond ridiculous that you pay 40,000 rubles and you still spend time with your visiting family member in a hotel lobby. Even food delivery isn’t allowed to go up - they have to drop your food at the reception and you get fully dressed and go down to pick it up. The 3rd and biggest shock is that they marked me in the booking app as no show and cancelled my stay AFTER I checked in and paid the full amount. I suppose they are trying to weasel out of paying a fee to the booking app but this is scary as booking is technically a contractual agreement between the guest and the hotel. The room is much smaller in reality than the pictures. The bathroom is filthy with the shower curtain actually having crud because it’s never been cleaned. The electric kettle is of extremely poor quality and takes like 10 minutes to heat up and won’t shut down on its own. The room is extremely cold and we had to sit in the room wrapped up in blankets. The breakfast bar is a joke. Very little food and tasted like it was cooked the previous night. There was very little coffee and it was cold and tasted like mud. We booked the room with breakfast included but we tried it once and decided to go out and eat breakfast every day. The security and receptionists are always unpleasant - frowning and not even answering our hello or good morning. The security guy is particularly rude when he refused entry to our guests. He could have been nice but he chose to be extremely rude. I could go on forever about how terrible this hotel is but in short, this is one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had and we are extremely well travelled. I would rate

I booked a room for a foreign guest, passed through, and the reservation was sold. The administrator blatantly lies that the reservation was for a different date. There is no connection with the management, I do what I want. Goodbye “Derzhavnaya”!!!!

We chose it based on reviews. The location is excellent, very close to the metro. Nearby is the Vkusville store. The area is quiet and calm. Price 3000 for an excellent room. Not like the antediluvian Space from 5000... There is an elevator, although it broke down in the evening... The room is very clean, there is no dust anywhere, neither on the table nor on the bedside tables. There are tiles in the bathroom. There is shampoo, gel and soap. The towels are the whitest: large, small per person and 1 more common one, we used for our hands. The linen is also snow-white and clean. The lighting is excellent. Chandelier and bedside lamps in the room, separate light in the hallway. Refrigerator, tea, sugar, kettle. It's a pity that there was no coffee... The room has air conditioning, in hot weather this is very important. The door to the bathroom does not close, someone already wrote about this. Well, okay) Well, you’re not living there with a stranger. There is a cafe downstairs with very good business lunches at a great price. About the fact that there are no slippers, we read in advance and took our own. There is parking, but it is paid. 250 rub. There is no information about this anywhere. Well, okay, but the car is under the window... If we go again, we will stop there again.

We stayed at the "Derzhavny" hotel from July 17 to July 19, 2022. Clean, quiet, the photos presented on the site correspond to reality. The room is cleaned once a day. Friendly staff. From the VDNKh metro station it takes about 7 minutes, no more. There is Pyaterochka nearby if you suddenly need to buy something you need.
