Food and service super as always. Always a great atmosphere in the restaurant. We’d like to specifically mention Jane on reception for her fabulous customer service. My mum and I had some questions about booking for Hogmanay. Jane couldn’t have been more helpful - she is an absolute asset to the team.

This hotel was booked as a journey break to the highlands. We booked a family room and D,B&B. On arrival we were told that one of the accessibility features was not available in the room we had booked and were ungraded to a suite. This was wonderfully wquipped with a huge bed, comfortable bed and large tv. Also a separate bath and shower. all beautifully clean. We had booked a three course meal which was really a step too much, but as the arrangement is pre pay, we were going to eat it! If we have a gripe, the breakfast was not as good as the other catering, rather hard bacon and too much vinagar in the poached egg. It also liiks lost on a large dinner plate. The stars of the show here though are the staff. All were both friendly and professional. They made our stay enjoyable and stress free. Full marks for customer service, Thank you folks.

My hubby and I are just back from a Lazy Sunday stay at your hotel. We had arranged our afternoon tea for 12 noon and we had dinner booked for 7.30pm to allow us to have space in our tummies for the dinner. The afternoon tea was great with everything you could ask for. It was well presented and the quality of everything was spot on. I had mixed feelings about the mushroom and tarragon soup as I don't like mushrooms but this was delicious. The waitress on clearing our table commented on the fact that we had finished everything as it was the first time she had seen clean plates in a while, we did say that it wasn't an effort to finish it as it was so good. Our check in at 2pm was smooth and we were really pleased when we were given an upgrade to the Jade suite which was so unexpected. The suite was very spacious and very tastefully decorated. It had two large TV's, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom. The kingsize bed was so comfortable and had good quality bedding. The biggest bonus was that the very large bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and a large walk in shower which we did make use of twice. Large and good quality towels were provided and two towelling bathrobes added to the experience. As the weather was lovely we were able to have the patio doors open to the small balcony. Our meal at night was excellent and the staff very pleasant. Our breakfast in the morning had a great selection to chose from and when I asked for my bacon to be put on the side of my pancakes, bacon and maple syrup it wasn't a problem to the waiter (who we had seen on previous visits, last one being 2019 which is reassuring to the way you look after your staff). The offer was advertised as Lazy Sunday and this what we had. We had a walk round the outside of the hotel, taking photos of the lovely flowers and on the bridge and we also sat for a while reading our books in the garden (all of this possible because of the great weather). This was our third visit to the hotel is something that we hope to be able to do again soon. Thank you all at The Radstone.

Myself and 3 friends booked afternoon tea. Food was fresh, tasty and first class. Staff were fabulous and, even though the restaurant was busy, looked after us extremely well and made us laugh. We moved from the restaurant into the lounge area for a few drinks and found the lounge to be quiet and relaxing. We had only planned to stay for afternoon tea but enjoyed the ambience so much that we stayed far longer than intended. Afternoon tea is good value for money and, as we couldn't finish everything presented beautifully to us, we were given boxes to bring home what we couldn't eat. Afternoon tea consisted of (each) a small cup of home made lentil soup, 3 finger sandwiches with various fillings (tuna, egg mayo, ham and pickle), small roll with coronation chicken, scone with butter, cream and jam, 4 mini cakes (carrot cake, empire biscuit, strawberry tart and tiffen). Not sure if tea and coffee is limitless, but ours was refreshed more than once. When we first arrived, staff asked if we had any allergies or dislikes (we had a few which were taken into consideration) and there was plenty of choice for us. My friends and I are now considering booking one of their tribute nights.

Myself and my friend went here yesterday for afternoon tea. I have been at the hotel in the past, but omg the service was amazing, staff are sooo friendly. We were going to leave at 5pm but we stayed to 9pm…. Cannot recommend this place enough. Our favourite member of staff was Blair who was really helpful on given advice about cocktails…. Megan also served us who also was equally nice as was the manager on duty too. We will defo be back 110%. Thank you all for making our day soooo nice.

We stayed at the Radstone Hotel as part of a day out at Royal Troon and further travel onwards to Northern Scotland. The hotel is nice and modern and the room was clean and comfortable. The Opal Restaurant served reasonably priced drinks and the food was tasty and hot. It's a good thing that the hotel do have the Opal Restaurant as we were unable to access the hotel's main bar at any point during our stay due to weddings/events |(mid week stay), which is the first time I have experienced this. The dinner, bed and breakfast offer we received was good value for our stay, however it would have been nice to be given a value to spend per person on food rather than a limited dedicated menu, but that's a personal preference on a pleasant and comfortable stay.

We upgraded to one of their suites and it is a very large room, nice and clean. However, there are many things missing in the room. No safe or fridge. Nowhere to hang towels apart from a very small radiator. No suitcase stands. No hooks to hang coats. They could certainly find ways to put these things as the room is very large. Reception staff is just perfect, very friendly and efficient. My only issue would be with a restaurant staff lady called Nicole who is very arrogant. Food is very good. It is a OK hotel, but it could be much better.

We booked this overnight on a deal, through the Rad Group site, so if you don't already check it, get looking!! Dinner, Bed & Breakfast at a little over £100 is hard to beat. As we were celebrating a special occasion, I called up to order flowers to be in the room on arrival. These were supplied by Jade's Flowers from the nearby town. Checking in was straight forward, being a regular RAD group customer, we had reward points saved up, which almost paid for the stay on its own. Room key, turned out to be a suite key, they must have upgraded us, as we were celebrating. Gorgeous, comfortable corner suite with views of the countryside to the front of the hotel. It does look over the busy road, but we didn't hear it through the double glazed patio doors. Dinner was very substantial & cooked to perfection. I recommend the bang bang chicken! Breakfast, again was substantial, ceriel, yoghurt etc.. & a cooked breakfast, coffee, coffee & coffee. A smashing relaxing overnight. It will not be the last.
