We chose mount Lavinia hotel as our wedding venue and it was the perfect choice! Mr. Hareendra who was our event manager from the hotel went an extra mile to make sure that we received the best service. He arranged everything according to our requirements. He was very helpful and easy to work with. Anything we requested were arranged promptly upon mere request. He even went to the extent of specially ordering custom made items to deliver the wedding reception of our dreams! Mr. Ravi our food and beverage manager made sure we received an international standard buffet which I had never seen in a wedding menu elsewhere! The staff was friendly and helpful. We had no trouble in getting anything done. Our overall experience was excellent! We definitely chose the best place with the best view, best service and antique grandeur to have our big day!

I recently organized an event at Mount Lavinia Hotel and had the pleasure of working closely with hotel team. Oshada(on side coordinator) and his team were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process—from initial calls and meetings to the event day itself. We had our reception at Mount Lavinia in April 2024. The location was unique, and the buffet had a nice spread that was very tasty. Moreover, the staff was very supportive, especially our event coordinator, Oshada Vishwanath, from the hotel.

Its a must visit! Fantastic hotel with great poolarea, private beach great service and the best food in sri lanka. Affordable for most people for that kind of excelent standard. Short distance from everything worth seeing in Colombo. Just book and enjoy😊

My husband and I were due to take the train from Mount Lavinia Station to Belliata; however, it was running 2 hours late so we walked up to the hotel in the hope of getting a cool drink whilst we waited. Even though we weren't guests, the welcome, and great service we received from everyone was wonderful. The location looked amazing and we'd love to come back here and actually stay if we come back to Sri Lanka again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome
