Pros: - Good location - near restaurants, shopping and grocery stores - Fairly nice pool area - Plenty of free parking - Convenient to downtown Charleston Cons: - Hotel, especially rooms, are very out dated - Below average room cleanliness - Bed linens very thin/cheap - "Suite" is essentially a room with a small sink and countertop -- very little improvement over a "standard" room - Pool bar prices are outrageous ($8 for a domestic beer, $12-15 wine, $15+ cocktails) -- i could see that at a higher-end hotel or higher-priced location, but at an Indigo? Rip off. - Pool bar staff is rude, unprofessional and creepy - Had drinks billed to room -- at check-out, total was well-beyond what was ordered; staff unable to provide a detailed receipt of purchases. Other guests had a similar experience. Lesson learned...pay by the drink and not on a tab or the bill may be padded/inflated to meet the bar-area sales quota.
