Trip.com did not disclose under its policy section for the resort that there is a $35.00 per day resort fee and a $2.00 per day destination fee over and above the charges paid to trip.com. Need better information concerning the total amount to be paid. Will probably not use your site to book any further travel.

Rooms are decorated nicely, the pool is decent, and location is good. Toilet doesn't work - have open the top, reach inside the tank, and pull the lever in order to flush. Let the front desk know each day, but they didn't care and it was never fixed. Apparently it's A-OK with their staff to have guests reaching into toilet tanks and manhandling their wet insides in order to flush them. Wifi is basically non-existent. I had to hotspot to my cell phone to simply load a google search page because both wifi's (guest and wireless) were so weak and kept cutting out. First day housekeeping didn't show up until 5, when I was trying to get dressed for dinner, second day they barged in on me TWICE despite the "do not disturb" light being on, third day they hung out outside my room BLASTING dance music until I stepped out and asked them to please stop. They ran out of tea bags in the morning and suggested I walk to their sister property to get some, whereas properly trained staff would have let me know they are out, but will be right over with some if I'd just wait a bit... This all reflects on how very poorly their hotel staff are trained. This hotel really needs to invest in a training program so that their team members can how proper hospitality should be run. Food by the pool is pretty awful - its premade slop in plastic to-go containers. This is the 7th hotel I've stayed at in 6 weeks and I work in the hotel industry. While this place would have a decent hard product if properly maintained (you'd expect a working toilet in a hotel room...) it is definitely the worst soft/staff product (comparing not just to 5-star but also to 2 and 3 star properties) out of them all.

Beautiful hotel, and a wonderful location with an awesome pool. My only issue was when I arrived Friday I was not alerted. There would be no food available due to the wedding at the fish house. And party at the point secured the other restaurant area. I feel like something should’ve been said to me. I had friends come join me, and nothing was available for me to do with them. Yes, I will be back because I love the location and the hotel communication is key

A beautiful resort to spend with my sorority sisters. The amenities were above average. We felt luxurious when we walked into our room.

The resort was very clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Our room, 1402, was incredible! The room was large and had great décor with a balcony that had views to the beautiful sunsets. I highly recommend.

My husband and I had a great stay. Very relaxing. The only issue we had was our room was not very tidy when we walked in. There were random drawers open in the night stands, dressers and in the bathroom vanity. The extra towels in the basket under the vanity were not cleaned very well, one looked to have been used to wipe off makeup. One of the bathroom sinks had residue in it but the other was clean. It almost seemed like maybe someone came in before us to get ready and left. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable. Overall the stay was great and we hope to come back as a family in the summer!

We had a great stay here... good service and bubbles upon arrival. Which was great, since it was difficult for our Uber/Lyft to find the place (which was the last thing we needed after a long travel day). Our room was lovely and had a great view. Comfy bed and nice fireplace to give a cozy feel at night. Large bathroom with plenty of space for two people to get ready at the same time. Coffee, tea, and spiced cider were available in the lobby, which was a nice amenity.

We enjoyed our visit. The resort is beautiful. The only small issue is that I booked a studio suite that ended up not having any heat. The room we moved to was smaller even though it was supposed to be an upgrade. The move was complimentary, so I won’t complain. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will be back with our children next time. Thank you for the southern hospitality.

The property is beautiful. They don't tell you about these until you get there. And part of your fears you receive complementary things at the store, but the store was not open, even when it was supposed to be. But the hotel is lovely.
