We stayed 3 nights at Possums Hideaway mid week, and got a great Autumn deal on their website. We found Federation Gardens when we were in our 20s by chance, and this was about our 6th stay. Our daughter is now 18, and we went back and did a couples stay which was awesome. Jess and staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was cosy and very clean with lots of nice little touches including beautiful candles and a log fire, spa, and even an apple for the possums ! We have stayed in all of their accommodation and they are all great but my favourite is now the Possums Hideaways. Beautiful outlook. Definitely will be back !! #Federation Gardens

This place was awesome to stay at. We were there for a planning retreat. The staff were friendly and flexible, and so responsive. Blackheath village had great little cafes and restaurants - so many to choose from.. The surrounding bushland was sublime, and I even got to meet Louis the Lyrebird who mimics so many other bush birds like rosellas, honey eaters, currawongs, black cockatoos.

Well appointed cabin in a secluded quiet, couples only section. As I stepped out of the cabin on the first morning a Lyre Bird ran past. The manager was friendly and helpful, calling me by name each time I entered the office. Thoroughly recovered for a getaway in the Blue Mountains.

Lovely quiet hideaway. Close to the entrance to the Blue Mountains National Park (just at the end of the street) for hike-lovers. Surrounded by nature. Nice accommodation with gas heating (necessary for the colder months). Only disappointment was that the pool was not really heated (not cold but definitely not nice and warm either).

My partner and I had the most amazing time whilst staying in possums cabin no 4 on the weekend! So neat, well presented and a cosy outlook. We will definitely be back real soon! The staff were welcoming and friendly, I will recommend Federation Gardens and Possums Hideaway to as many people as I possibly can! Thankyou so much for a memorable experience ❤️

An amazing time in the Possums Hideaway cabin. Staff went above and beyond to help plan the little details to make this a special weekend. Can not thank them enough. Clean, comfy, plenty of firewood for the fireplace and a heater, to take the chill off the room before arrival. Quiet, tranquil. Loved the sound of rain around us during the night.

Jess was so helpful with all my questions prior to our group's arrival. Booking was easy, checking in was easy. Good bbq facilities, plenty of space to park. Definitely recommend the place. (There were 15 of us in the group so we were given three pine lodges to stay at.)

Our visits to the Blue Mountains are always made that much better by staying at Federation Gardens and Possums Getaway. Jess and her wonderful team do their absolute best to make us feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. We booked 2 of the Laurel cabins, and one of the private cabins for 6 adults and 2 young infants. Cabins are so clean and have everything you might need. The gas fires are perfect, with the wood fire in the private cabin enjoyed. You can do as little as you like or enjoy the tennis court, swim in the heated pool, roast marshmallows (provided by the venue, Thankyou!) at the fire pit. We absolutely loved our stay, Thankyou !

Comfortable with amazing surrounds. Stayed for five days and it felt like longer. Wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff. Everything you need is available in the cabins- wood fire ready to go on arrival. Will miss out possum friends. Will definately be back.
