Reception in the evening is very slow - felt short of staff. At the bar I have asked for a camomile tea they tried to charge me extra (you expect a tea to be complimentary especially as I had to wait 1 hr to get my room as the whole key system was down when I arrived at the evening to check in).

Two rooms were booked. When checking in, we were initially told that the second room could not be found and had not been booked. At some point, the receptionist apparently found a room after all. Then, at night, two other guests who had just checked in and received the same room card suddenly came into the second room. On the second day, the room card was also blocked, so that we could no longer get into the room.

Basically, there is nothing to say against staying here. However, the television could not be controlled, so you could only turn it on and off by "pulling the power cord". Neither the buttons nor the remote control worked. So you couldn't select any channels and you couldn't control the volume. But what ultimately leads to this rather poor rating is the following: the supply temperature for the hot water is far too low. On the one hand, this means that you have to shower with lukewarm water. So washing your hair is difficult. What is really bad is that it cannot be ruled out that germs will form in the pipes and these can lead to illness. And that is absolutely not acceptable. When you report this to reception, you often get a blunt "Sorry". Otherwise, the room and cleanliness were OK, but that is the least you can hope for. What a shame!

The room is a bit noisy from the hallway and the neighboring room. The ventilation is typically loud and breakfast is really too expensive, there is a great bakery within walking distance.
The receptionist at check-in was super nice. Unfortunately, another one was not so nice at check-out and generally few employees greeted you when you met them.

Overall, the accommodation was very good, clean and nice. However, in our hotel room there were several black scratches/marks on the wall next to the bed. Hence 4 stars.
