Booking this hostel was the WORST MISTAKE I’ve ever made.I Booked hostle for this upcoming Octoberfest season, going for a bachelor party. Due to big group of people attending I chose to stay in a mixed dorm with 8 people. Shortly after booking a unforeseen circumstance occurred which caused me to cancel my booking for the 2 beds I had already paid for. Spoke to a representative who was very helpful but unfortunately continuously informed me that bc that size room only came in a nonrefundable booking, and bc of this I would loose all the money already paid($1,000). She further informed me that it is company policy and they make absolutely no exceptions to the corporate rules for refunds. So even though I cancelled my reservation, the Meininger business will be taking my money(all in full, as if I actually stayed at the location for those days) and then still renting the two beds out which I had booked. Never booking this establishment again.

The staff very friendly, especially the receptionists. the location is very good to reach the city center, parking available, room very clean and great service. Breakfast is good, service at the bar the whole day. I can just recommend it!!

Ich habe selten so ein tolles und kostengünstiges Hotel gesehen . Die Mitarbeiter beim Check-In(Insbesondere der große Herr mit den dunklen Haaren ) Frühstück extrem lecker und vielfältig . Sehr zentral und direkt neben der Tram. Sauberkeit war top.

Sono stato recentemente con una scolaresca, servizio pessimo. Ci era stato detto che alle 22 ci sarebbe stato il silenzio, ma fino all'una passata era un continuo via vai di ragazzi nei corridoi, ubriachi e molesti. Non ci sono stati interventi da parte del personale, che anzi ci ha richiamato in orario diurno per del chiacchiericcio nella hall... Turni dei pasti disorganizzati, con poco spazio e troppa gente accalcata. Non sono sempre riuscito a bere (1 solo dispenser di bevande per tutti...), e la qualità del cibo era scarsa. Una camera l'abbiamo trovata con bottiglie di birra vuote all'interno. Distribuzione delle camere modificata all'ultimo con camere sp**** sui piani insieme agli altri gruppi, dopo esplicita richiesta di poter avere stanze vicine. Per conto mio, a mai più rivederci.

I booked a stay through their website with the "flex" tariff, which allows the client to cancel free of charge until 6 pm on the day of arrival. I came to the hotel at 8 pm of a night with 50 cm of fresh snow on the ground, no tramway or bus working, and -8°C. They said they cancelled the reservation free of charge because I didn't show up by 6 pm, claiming that the "flex" tariff gives also the hotel the possibility to cancel. Of course, this was not clearly specified, and no communication whatsoever has been sent to my mailbox to inform me that the reservation had been annulled. I had to arrive there in the most extreme weather condidtions, just to hear them saying there was no room for me. Criminals.

We stayed a few days in Munich and found this hotel hostel perfect for what we needed. We were a family of 5 and the room held us all. Very basic room, but clean and what you need if you are there just to sleep. The breakfast was better than expected with quite an assortment of food that suited everyone. It is not as far out of the center as I thought also. Short tram trip that is easy to work out.

se si vede le foto sembra tutto carino e fatto bene, invece il cibo che ti viene dato è di qualità scarsa , le stanze sono per la maggior parte sporche oppure poco pulite. Forse l'unica che va a favore è il fatto di essere strategico per spostarsi per andare a visitare. Se però si è una famiglia che è venuta in vacanza per pochi giorni NON CONSIGLIO QUESTO HOTEL.

Per quanto riguarda le camere dell'ostello, possiamo dire che sono risultate pulite e confortevoli. Rimane il grosso problema delle cene. Troppe persone in un spazio non adeguato, il cibo scarso, di poca varietà e di bassa qualità e la mancanza di stoviglie. Tutto fa pensare ad una struttura che si è voluta reinventare da B&B in albergo con servizio di mezza pensione.

Prezzi decisamente troppo alti per un personale arrogante sgradevole e offensivo verso il cliente. Camere piccolissime per il numero si persone che alloggiano. Lampadina della luce in camera rotta,finestre serrate senza la possibilita di aprirle per prendere aria,se dovessi descrivere la camera in un aggettivo"CLAUSTROFOBICA" Cibo a buffet con solamente 2 portate (un primo e un contorno)la possibilita di un celiaco di mangiare non c'e infatti mangiando cibo senza glutine non ho potuto mangiare nonostante lo avevo detto prima della prenotazione,sono dovuto andare a mangiare in un supermarket!!!!!!!!!!! Al reclamo il personale si è dimostrato indisponente e non ha nemmeno provato a rimediare ma mi ha risposto in maniera menefreghista In conclusione NON ANDATECI SE NON VOLETE FARVI DEL NERVOSO
